Medium fit true to size. Almost an exact replica of the more expensive Athleta version. I am 5.5 ft tall & 145 lbs. The fabric is very lightweight and does not wrinkle. I have narrow hips and a wide waist. These are very flattering on me. The light olive color is a nice neutral.

I purchased about 4 pair (medium) last year. I'm 5'3" and weight about 148 lbs. Was great in Italy in September. Considering one day it's sunny and the next day, rain. They are very comfortable with room to move. However, recently I purchased 2 more pairs. They seem tighter. No, I haven't gained weight. But why aren't the sizes the same as last year? I'm afraid a large will be too big. But I will order larges and send the mediums back because I love them that much. Wait and see.

I ordered a black pair a few years ago in size Large. So, recently I ordered three more in size Large. BUT, something had changed and boy, they were too small. I am currently wearing my first pair a lot, so it wasn't that I had put on weight!I returned them and am waiting for the XL. Something has changed. on their. end, because the material is similar but a bit more slippery/thinner than my first pair! Well, not that bad, so, as long as they fit, they are wearable and attractive and. comfortable!!

The media could not be loaded. Nice enough but I need a smaller size.I anticipated these would be according to foreign sizing so I ordered a size larger than I would in US sizing. It turned out to be a bit too big so I guess I will need the next smaller size.The material is lightweight so the pants seem good for hotter weather. I have not tried them on a long term basis so I would not know by experience. Because of the design the pants seem breathable. There seems to be different material sewn onto the sides that is more like cotton or a cotton mix while the rest of the pants are a silky polyester-spandex blend. The pants seem good for general casual wear. Good for travel since they pack small. Good for exercising or doing yoga but it can depend on your own preferences. Since these pants do not have some outlandish logo on them they can seemingly be dressed up a bit and you can wear them with a dress shirts of certain styles or you can wear them with a T-shirt or sweat shirt.One thing though is that because of the aspects of the lighter-weight material , the pants may not flatter more awkwardly shaped bodies. It sort-of reveals the shape of the legs more than disguise them should you need clothing that will hide some disproportionate body features.I only tried on the pants, I did not actually use them and I don't know how quick dry they are (the material just seems to be) , I would not now how long lasting they would be. I am not sure if the sides of the pants are of a material that would pill. It seems possible.I think I would recommend these but it can depend on what you are looking for. But I have to return the ones I ordered and maybe try a different size at a later time.
