My cat loves it! Good ingredients used!
My cat loves it! It smells pretty good and it’s not as oily as other dry cat food! Will repurchase next time! They use real chicken for their ingredients which better than other dry cat food. The price is higher compared to other brands!

Amazing ingredients and my cat loves it!
The media could not be loaded. I'm in love with this company (and their cat food) ! They make amazing food that I feel good about giving to my cat. I want something all natural and good for my cat, and ZiWi hits the mark perfectly. Plus my cat devours it and is so excited about feeding time. (There's a difference in her casually eating her food, to can't eat it fast enough. And with this cat food, she cant eat it fast enough. Which lets me know how much she loves it) and I absolutely love that. I'm super pleased with this purchase and will continue to get my food from this company. I love all the different options they have. (I chose the beef recipe) and will definitely being testing out their other flavors. The size of the food is perfect. It's not too big or small. My cat had no problems eating it. It didn't cause her any belly problems or any side effect. I'm super pleased overall with the quality, tatse, and ingredients. Take a look at the picture!!!! She did this trying to get into it. She loves loves loves it. (Never had she tried to get into her other food like this, NEVER!)

better than most dry cat foods
As dehydrated cat foods go, this one is much better than the rest. It's less likely to cause obesity and diabetes than the dry cat foods with lots of carbohydrates. Cats are obligate carnivores, therefore have evolved to digest meat/organs/bones efficiently, but a cat's pancreas isn't able to handle the load of sugars that result from eating starch.Sadly though, all dehydrated food will cause kidney disease and bladder crystals because cats have a very low thirst drive and don't drink anywhere near enough water to counteract the dehydrating effects of consuming dry food. Cats evolved to eat the bodies of animals/birds/reptiles/bugs which are 80-85% water. So please either feed dry foods to your cats only occasionally, or add water or plain broth/stock to the dry food.Note: only plain broth/stock, as onions/garlic and some spices are toxic to cats.Thank you for caring enough to learn more about your role in your cat's health vs. disease.

Feline Feast that is Worth the Money
There are a few reasons why I really like this food for my cat. It boasts ethically-sourced ingredients, which is fantastic! Plus, the process of gently air-drying the ingredients ensures the maintenance of nutritional value. On a downside, the price point could be a bit more affordable. Still, the quality is definitely worth the cost.

Devour worthy!
My cat went crazy over this food! What I first noticed was the smell and size of the pieces of food. Very strong raw fish odor, like fish flakes sort of, but my cat meowed at the food until I sat the plate down, which he never does when it’s time to eat usually. The size of each piece reminds me of the treats he loves and adores, and he did a great job at eating the small pieces. I think this food is meant for him and will help his skin and coat because the ingredients in this are amazing and good for his body! I think the price is a little high for my liking to have this be his main source of food for feeding him twice a day, but the quality of this premium product outshines the price any day.

Nutritious cat food your cats will beg for
The Ziwi Peak steam and dried South Pacific Fish recipe is an amazing cat food. The label mentions that it is made from 87% animal ingredients. The color is dark and it smells strongly of fish. My cats go crazy for these small little bites of cat food. Compared to other brands, it’s definitely crunchier, and the size is perfect. It’s so healthy and looks better than most cat food on the market today. It’s a great value for the price and easy to serve to your cat, as a meal or as a treat. It’s definitely our new go-to dried cat food.

Zero stars from my crew...
To preface this: I have an Oriental Shorthair and a Toyger. Both cats are young (under 2 years old) with perfect dental health. Both have good appetites (especially my OSH) and are not particularly picky. They both have eaten & enjoyed fresh raw and dehydrated raw food.So when I gave them this, and NEITHER really wanted it... I was confused. I knew they were hungry since it was meal time and they were crying & following me around. My Toyger gave up and walked away after maybe 1/8c of his total meal portion. He looked uncomfortable, almost pained as he was slowly eating the pieces. Even with treats and fish oil added, I could only get him to eat another few bites before he walked off for good. My OSH ate her full meal portion, but didn't seem very pleased with it. I tried letting her have some of my Toyger's unfinished portion, which she ate a bit from before growing bored. Normally, she's hoovering her food down so that she can go bully my Toyger away from his portion.I tried again the next day, and got the same disinterested results. Finally, I tried for the last time the day after that, and even waited a few hours past their normal meal time until I knew they were SUPER hungry... they still had basically no interest when I served this food to them! I left their bowls there overnight for them to graze on it, and for the first time ever, I woke up to see that they had NOT finished their food! Over 12 hours with that food, and they did not want it!One of the first things I noticed is that this food does not smell appealing, and by that, I mean that it has little smell at all. That might be great for human noses, but that detail is likely part of why my cats were not attracted to it. It didn't smell like meat. Seriously, I have smelled low grade cheap kibble that was meatier than this stuff. The venison dry food that I am currently feeding is much meatier and more natural in smell. Here's what I think the major issue is with this food - the shape and density makes it very difficult for cats to eat. I've attached an image so you can see what I mean. On the left is venison dry food, and on the right is this product (the Ziwi Peak). The shape (wider, flatter) and the density (lighter, crunchier) of the Farmina makes it easier and more appealing for cats to eat compared to the Ziwi Peak, which is more square and much, MUCH denser and more difficult to chew apart. I am not exaggerating when I say that my cats were struggling to eat this Ziwi Peak food, and that my Toyger in particular looked very uncomfortable. The Ziwi Peak food pieces are very dense, small, and not easy to chew. They are dense, hard pieces with no crunch, so your cat is left having to chew through them, which their teeth are not well designed for as obligate carnivores. I tried squeezing a few of the pieces apart using my fingers with no luck. It took a GREAT amount of force to pierce through them using my fingernails. Again, due to their diet as obligate carnivores, a cat's jaws & teeth are not designed to accommodate much chewing like dog or human jaws & teeth are. Excessive chewing is unpleasant and frustrating for them. I can understand why my cats seem to hate eating this food.Lastly - PEAS! I wish I had more thoroughly read the ingredients list before purchasing this. There is no proof that cats benefit from legumes in their diet. As a matter of fact, there is recent evidence that shows legumes may inhibit taurine absorption! I am not taking any chances, and therefore, I avoid legumes in cat food like the plague. Your air-dried food for cats does not contain legumes, so why does this one?? Leave the unnecessary ingredients OUT of what should be premium cat food!
