I really wanted to like these - I have used several brands of shapewear in the past but this is my first piece from SPANX. Sadly, As someone with thicker thighs and quite pronounced hip dips I found that rather than smooth my shape the thigh portions of this shapewear are quick to roll up on me, and the tummy area rolls down just a little too. I do like the level of compression on my lower stomach area as well as how soft the fabric is, but sadly this just isn't a perfect piece for me and I can't wear it with any bodycon pieces as the rolled up bits of shapewear would be visible. Sized appropriately and comfortable, just doesn't perform how I expected for my shape.

I got these for my wife in her normal size to wear under dresses as more of a slip. She really likes them and said they are smoothing but she was hoping they would have more compression in the stomach area. She said next time she would order down one size in hopes to have more compression. It smoothed her stomach area and thighs and she likes that the thighs weren’t so compressed that it left a bulge, it was a smooth transition. There are no sticky gripper strips in the waist or leg areas. She said it is a great length for a skirt or dress. For reference she is 5’1” 163 lbs and her normal clothing size is large.
