Hope I never have to use this tool. It worked well on the provided glass pieces to practice on. But appreciated the advice from another reviewer that before breaking the glass I put it in a plastic baggie so I don’t have glass shards flying all over the place. It was easy to use and seemed worth the price.

Very easy to use. Just the right size to put in the top tray of our center console of our cars so we can get quick access.

Good size but, easily lost in a wrecked carNeeds a bigger lanyard. But, it is very functional. So, I bought two. Very affordable, the price is right. Would be easy to use for any age, children and even the elderly.

Hope I never need it, BUT this device is very easy to operate and with the provided grip pads installed it’s virtually impossible to screw up. They provide three glass discs to practice breaking. Practice on all three. There is nothing to do except press the flat end against the glass surface and the spring-loaded safe-hammer does the rest. I didn’t try the seatbelt cutter. I’m not sure on what I could use as a substitute. More concerned with breaking the glass. That it’s a three pack make it an even better deal. Very satisfied.

Great quality and good looking (if you're concerned about having items in your car that can be viewed as an "eyesore"). Fortunately, I haven't had to use this yet. However, based on inspection of these, they are well-made and the spring-action of the glass breaker works.I've had one of them mounted in my car for over a month, and it just fell off. The mount piece is good, its the sticky tape isn't (the emergency tool was still connected to the clip). This wasn't an issue for me and my thought was "at least it wasn't so sticky that it would damage the vinyl."It did remind me to write my review lol. The red is my favorite and actually matches the interior of my FK8 (not that I had it on display, but still lol). If you're going to mount it so you can easily find it in thr event of an emergency situation, I recommend getting some 3m circles or other sticky tape (don't forget to check that it's non-damaging to the material you're sticking it to).Be safe!!!

Great investment for potential life saving measures. We have known people that have been in a situation where this device could have saved their life and our friend is a water rescue deputy who goes on these calls all the time. I was surprised to see how well it worked testing it on the glass included with the kit. We now have them in both our vehicles and gave the third to one of our friends. They are easy to store and mount in you car just about anywhere for quick access. I would recommend it to everyone who has a car and especially for parents of young children or kids who now drive to pass it along just in case.

Works very well! I even broke the glass they have me under water and it worked! Love the design and the fact you can put it on a key chain!
