Worked right out of the box for 3 PCs
I was originally looking for a KVM switch to hook up 3 PCs to one monitor keyboard and mouse, but they're expensive (I need VGA or DVI as well as 1440p HDMI) and reading reviews many of them seemed to have potential issues. So I bought a cheap additional monitor to use for work and and my old optiplex (I only ever use one of those at a time) and this box to hook up a keyboard for 3 PCs. I haven't tried 4 (yet) and will update if I get round to it. One wireless dongle for the keyboard and mouse (Logi brand) and just tap the wired switch to change between them. No appreciable delay in switching and no issues with lag in gaming (I'm not a competitive gamer, I think a wired mouse would be better for that anyway). No software to install, it just worked, even on my fairly locked down work PC. I did read that a power supply is needed for multiple USB connections, but as I'm only likely to use 2 at most (the dongle and maybe a memory stick) I've got no need. And yes I did plug in my 64GB USB drive and it worked fine so a cheap and cheerful way to move files (slowly) from one computer to another. Only downsides (mentioned in other reviews) are the fixed USB cables coming out of it which are a bit of a rats nest behind my PC and potentially a failure point if the plan is to move this device around a lot and a short lead on the switch to change between devices (the only way you can do it). I'm not planning to move any of my PCs or take this device anywhere so not an issue for me.

Worth the money
Great. Small footprint on the desk. Works everytime. Would add it doesnt allow you to change PCs via the keyboard and the blue leds indicating which port is in ise can not be seen unless you view from above. A white sticker over the leds sorted it. Would recommend for the price.

Extremely reliable, study, but requires more ports, and pretty overpriced.
I needed the ability to ONLY switch a wireless keyboard and mouse between two computers As such I didnt need a fully fledged KVM, just a USB switcher.I have dealt with various USB switchers, and most non mainstream branded devices are pretty terrible. Either they are unreliable (often either disconnecting, or even not properly switchin) or downright harmfull to equipment due to poor seperation of signals and power. Some even use non standard connections (such as a USB A socket for INPUT as well as OUTPUT which not only is non compliant to USB specs (which are strict about that stuff), but also potentially harmfull to your equipment if you connect stuff wrong.I had earlier bought a Sabrent USB-C KVM for my wife, and was impressed with its quality and reliability so when looking for a USB switcher I chose this product despite being quite pricy for what it is, and also only havign one USB port (though in my case I only needed one). The product is definately well made and correctly uses full size USB B sockets for the Input. I switch frequently between the two computers, and it works well, never lost connection and has a little LED showing which input is connected. My only issue isa) its price, I cannot see how it costs that much to make but I guess it doesnt have much in the way of branded quality competition. My wifes USB C KVM which is also by sabrent, and has far more features, including a hub, video, and USB PD was not that much more in price.b) for that price it could have easily had 2 output ports, again see above.

Perfect device - seemless switch between 2 different computers.
I bought this device as I had a Mac mini and work laptop and for both I wanted to share the keyboard, mouse and screen on my desk. I initially overlooked looked this as it only had one usb port so really could only connect one of either a mouse.or keyboard. After finding a really good deal on a usb3 hub, I decided to go with this product and connect the usb hub to the and plug all my devices to the hub. I had read some reviews on various products about issue with switch from one device to the other, but from my experience so far, the switch is seemless and I think it helps this being a one usb out device.... Less chance of port causing issue! One press of the button switches from my Mac to my windows work laptop and vice versa. Perfect for my intended use, I am delighted with it!

Simple solution to an annoying problem
This is a brilliantly simple product that solves the printing problem (in my case) of owning one printer and two computers, which in the past entailed pulling out the printer cable each time I wanted to switch from printing from one computer to another and swapping the cables over which would eventually wear out the connector on the printer, plus you have to reach round the back each time to pull out the cable, if your printer is hidden away this could be a right chore. However, if you buy this switch the changeover is pretty simple. Simply plug both computers into the switch, then connect the cable on the other side of the switch to the printer. If two computers are plugged in but only one powered up then it defaults to the powered one, if you have both computers plugged in and powered up you simply push the switch on the top of the device to switch between printer cables and it works flawlessly.Should have bought one of these years ago, it's a simple and elegant solution.Once again, highly recommended if you are in this situation.

Faster switching and more reliable than any other USB sharing device I've found.
This is almost perfect. The supplied cables are plenty long, but it's a shame that they're permanently attached rather than using USB sockets. At this price I'm not going to complain too much about that though. The actual switching process is far faster and more reliable than other USB sharing hubs I've tried before and having the option for 4 connected hosts means even my nerdy needs are catered for.I was frankly amazed to find that it happily skips over any unconnected or powered down hosts when cycling through them. And after two weeks of work I've not had a single USB device get "confused", which was a daily occurance with the simpler 2-host one it is replacing.
