Fantastic generator easy to use and set up, I run a marine tank and in the event of a power cut could lose my fish and corals so purchased this item. A week later we had a power cut in our street it lasted 9 hours luckily I was at home and fired it up. ran a lead into the house and plugged everything in and kept everything alive and well it payed for its self instantly in saving all my live stock and three years work getting my tank to where it is today.

I spent a long time researching online for a new Generator. My Honda one was no longer big enough for my needs, and the price of a new Honda was ridiculous. So, in the end, knowing the reliability of the Hyundai engine I plumped for one and I am not disappointed. Mounted in a heavy duty frame the whole package is solidly built and gives a good "feel" about the whole thing. The battery is plenty powerful enough to drive the electric start and the generator kicks in within 2 or 3 spins every time. The AVR keeps the output rock steady regardless of load and overall I am delighted enough with it to be purchasing 2 more for our village halls soon for Emergency backup. The 25 litre tank is a bonus as well, as the generator doesn't need topping up every couple of hours. The only downside (and I'm being picky) is the really flimsy choke lever which seems so out of place on such a sturdy item. Come on Hyundai you can sort THAT out can't you??? It doesn't interfere with the running of the generator and if it broke it would be an easy fix to get over. The generator is heavy as well and needs two people to move it about without causing Hernias! I gave it 3 months before writing this review as I wanted to be as objective as possible. I run it every week to warm it through and it has performed faultlessly. I would honestly recommend it to anyone.

Arrived sooner than expected. The quality is fabulous. I've been running it for several days and it's working well, starting first time every day so far. Really happy it carries a three year Hyundai warranty. It's snowing and this generator hasn't let me down.

1st time use, motor worked but no display, no working breakers and no power. Engine “groaned” every 5 secs and it seems the unit attempts to start making power but fails. Extremely inconvenient as some assembly is required +1.1litres of oil and fuel to be added before use. This has now had to be removed ready for collection by the courier. Amazon did a great job with a no quibble offer to refund or replace. Replacement taking up to 7weeks. I would have expected better Quality checks by Hyundai’s manufacturer before dispatch. What a hassle

3 KW, easy to use but rather noisy. Purchased as a stand by generator, in case of power cuts

It's pretty straightforward to use but a bit noisier than anticipated, not having a detailed appreciation of what decibels equate to. I have built a shelter with sound-absorbing foam inside which makes a big difference. It does what it says on the tin.
