I was “influenced” to try one of these silk bonnets, and I’m glad I was! This one is a lot less expensive than some of the other brands advertised, it’s pure silk (a double layer), and very comfortable. And it has an adjustable fit, which is good since I have a big head; I was able to loosen it substantially. I’ve washed it in the washer (in a zipped lingerie bag) then let it air dry, and it’s still in great shape. And the best thing is that my wavy hair is much better in the morning than before I started using it. It keeps my hair from getting frizzy or tangled, and looks pretty great right out of the bonnet in the morning.

Love it!! Doesn’t snag my hair like a satin bonnet. I have neck length micro locs and will definitely have to get a large larger bonnet as they grow. Nice quality love the double layers.

This does seem to be good quality construction, and it stays put, so I give 3.25 stars. But I really don’t think it’s 100% silk. It feels just a little too stiff, like it’s a blend with another, synthetic textile. There isn’t any spare material to do the burn test, so this is just a tactile observation. If you are used to the typical satin bonnet style with the heavily rouched elastic band, then you may not be bothered by the band on this. I thought I would like the wider band, as other bonnets I’d tried had a narrower band, like a thin bra strap, that just weren’t very durable. But this elastic band is a bit too scratchy, if durable, and combined with all the ruffled material, feels too bulky framing your face. And it leaves heavy impression markings on your forehead when you take it off in the morning. I’ll keep it, but this will be my back-up bonnet. Or maybe I’ll use it as hair protection for various diy projects

I've slept on a slippery satin pillowcase for years but I got a CPAP machine and started wearing a chin strap, and the combination really rubbed and pulled at my hair. This is a sturdy well made bonnet. The "medium" has tons of room, much more than I need for my medium length fine wavy hair. It stays on well for me and I like the adjustable detail. I wash it on the same days I wash my hair, by hand in the sink, blot with a towel and hang dry. It still looks and feels exactly the same after about 10 washes. My hair is much smoother when I wake up. I recently slept without it and had a lot of frizzy flyaway tufts again in the morning.

I think it’s too small. The bonnet should be a little bigger because it’s squishing my hair.

The colour was a lighter pink which I actually prefer. They give you a sample to test whether it is real silk or not. Beautiful product, will look at other items once I have the chance. Many will claim 'Real Silk' but it is actually satin. This is REAL SILK, there is a difference. Don't be fooled by the wording "silky feel".
