Colourblocks: My Big Box of Colours (Numberblocks Board Books)

My son is obsessed on with these books and takes them out on a daily basis

Colourbocks !! Fantastic collection of six board books. Great value at £15, not sure I could rationalise the list price of £39.99.

The Colourblock books are a set of 6 individual colour board back books which come with a handy storage box. The books are based on the CBBC show which i hadn't heard of, as i ordered these books purely for their education value. The books are well made, printed well with good editing. Each book takes around a minute to get through as they're not designed to be storybook but more educational around the colour they focus on. They teach the reader what colours can exist on specific items/animals etc. This is a great fun way to teach your little one colours, it's engaging with big pictures and text to really demonstrate the colours on each item/animal etc. I feel for this price this bundle offers excellent value for money for the interaction and educational values alone. They have also helped point us in the direction of a new show for our little one.

This is a gorgeous set of books to accompany the BBC Cbeebies series Colour Blocks. The books themselves have thick cardboard pages and are very high quality. The printing itself has vibrant colouring matching the themed colour. The books have red, blue, yellow, green, orange and purple. The pictures also match the look of the series and the objects shown in them. The books are supplied in a slide in box. The whole set exudes quality and is an ideal size for little hands. The pages are glossy and coated and seem resistant to potentially grubby hands with easily cleaned pages. It is a great set, whether or not you use with the series. However it really is a good, high quality set of early learning books.

Excellent quality book set, presented in a sturdy box for storage. The box is also slightly wider than necessary, which means the books fit in easily, and will continue to do so even if they they become slightly worn. The books are bright and bold, with a high gloss finish. They complement the TV series and are perfect for young fans of the show. I do think some of the words are tricky for the age the books are aimed at. Take ‘sapphire’ for example (as pictured). I’d like to see simpler words which can easily be decoded phonically. Overall, a lovely set to complement the series.

Anyone who likes colour blocks on tv will love this book set. They are very large books with large rating and big thick pages so little hands will be able to turn the pages easily. Printed well and presented really well inside their box a perfect gift for little ones.

From the CBeebies animated TV series, this set of 6 books are all about learning colours and has given hours of fun and enjoyment to my grandson who loves the shows. They are engaging and colourful and he loves identifying the colours and although he’s younger than lower end of the recommended reading age it’s definitely something we can enjoy together. The books are well written, have nice durable hardcovers with wipe clean pages and rounded corners, and help kids recognise colours and associations. They are well made in my opinion and should last well, they keep him entertained and are a good learning opportunity. They are currently on offer and are great value for money. These books are hands down AMAZING ! great for learning and having fun, bought these and they're a great addition to the other collection I have!!!

My son loves this show, and it’s hard to find toys from it. Cute books, but they are rather short and repetitive.
