Paper Quilling Four Seasons Chinese Style Hardcover – April 17, 2018

I teach Chinese brush painting. I have done a little quilling & recently curious about it again. Found the other Paper Quilling Chinese Style book by accident & was blown away! Bought it & saw this one & bought it too. They are both amazing & I am re-inspired especially because of the Chinese style which I love. Very informative with narrative about the symbolism of the Chinese culture regarding flowers, symbols, seasons & more. The step by step process for each creation is very helpful. I will look up this Museum as it must be incredible.

This is a beautiful book! The projects are beautiful. They start easy and get more difficult as you get further in the book. The amount of instruction in this book is perfect. It tells you just what you need to know but leaves plenty of room for creativity.

Even if I never make paper quilling of this caliber, it is worth just scanning the book and the other in this series for ideas. I haven’t started any projects but directions look very clear. This and the other book in this series show paper quilling in a new and different way that raises it to a whole new level of art. I look forward to the book on animals that is forthcoming this year.

I have the other Chinese quilling book as well and these are full of such wonderful ideas and pictures.An absolute delight, easy to follow, and well produced. An addition to any collection!

This is as much of a lovely table book as it is an instructional book. It’s more for an advanced quiller with lots of experience
