Great Oil
Thus oil should have a written health warning and should be sold in lead containers. Its powerful alright but adds a zing to any Eastern dsh.

Nicely warm, but I didn't find it had much kick
I'm a bit of a chilli-head and I like extra-hot sauces (not necessarily "enthusiast" or "extreme" heat, but something just a bit hotter than your average hot pepper sauce). Akabanga was suggested by Amazon while I was browser other sauces, and it caught my eye - so I thought it worth a go.And don't get me wrong - it certainly IS worth a go, and is perfectly pleasant. There's nothing wrong with it per se, but perhaps the size of the bottle made me think this was a bit special and I'd been expecting something a little hotter; this didn't fit the bill for me.I've tried it using it "neat" (e.g. drizzled on a home-made pizza, or a few drops into a chilli con carne wrap), but for me it didn't do much. I could obviously tell there was chilli oil on my pizza, but it didn't seem much different - if at all - to the standard chilli oil you get in big bottles on the table of any given high street pizza chain. Perhaps I got a bottle from a duff batch?I also used a few drops in early stages of cooking a dish, wondering if the heat might develop while the pot was cooking. I tried a goodly squirt of this in with the ginger/garlic/chilli puree while making a "desi style" curry but in truth I couldn't really tell any difference from my normal recipe (maybe because I already had a scotch bonnet in the puree, along with the other chillies). I also tried adding a few drops in the early stages of making a chilli con carne when I was browning the meat (made using a standard packet/sachet mix) but again once it was cooked I couldn't notice much/any difference - perhaps I needed to add more; who knows. It's not like I can't taste it, it's just that it doesn't give me the tingle I crave. Perhaps this is just because I've gotten used to hotter sauces and I've built up some sort of tolerance; I'm not sure. Again: the taste from the oil isn't bad, and if you like spicier foods then it's worth a look. It's just that for the size of the bottle I'd perhaps been expecting something a bit "extra" - not crazy, not insane, not dangerous; just something with a bigger kick.I still have maybe half a bottle left, and will give it one last go - I'll try *ALL* of it next time I cook a spicy dish: I'll use this instead of vegetable oil and see what happens!Flavour: fine. Temperature: warm. But if you're looking for something with a kick, then this shouldn't be your first choice.

Good product
This chilli oil is really spicy! I bought it for external use as I have poor blood circulation. I don’t quite like the smell.

Not hot
For some reason it wasn't hot at all so disappointing. We really wanted to find something to knock our socks off.
