I love earl grey, but most of the cheaper brands give me serious sinus problems. This tea does not, higher quality ingredients for the win.

I love Early Grey tea and the stuff I was sent is not good. There is no hint of bergamot and the tea leaves are bone dry and crumbly / dust. The bag also had a cut (circled) and it was stained with water/age/??? The real kicker here is the tea is not refundable. This is the last time I try to buy loose leaf tea from Amz.

I've tried numerous brands of Earl Grey, and Harney's is the best. Fragrant and rich. I've ordered several pound bags through the last couple years, and every one was fresh. Yes, it is pricey. But it is delicious and nothing like Twinings, Lipton, Bigelow, Tazo, etc... Be careful to get the basic Earl. Any other word added to the title like "Supreme" will disappoint you if you are a purist and not a fan of vanilla. Basic Earl is unsullied and worth every penny.

This is highly quality tea!

The tea has a rich black tea flavor, but it is bit bitter, especially if over-seeped. It is ground up reasonably fine, which often conceals stems, and full stems are also visible. The quality is a noticeable cut below some of the best earl grays that I’ve had where they painstakingly separate stems and leave full leaves curled up but intact. However those teas tend to be 3-4x more expensive. So if your looking for a value Earl and are careful to stop seeping at 3-5 min this is OK and will be a cut above most pre-bagged tea.
