I bought these cat chew ropes for my cats, and they’ve been a total hit! From the moment I opened the package, my two dorks were curious and immediately started playing. They are the perfect size for both of my cats. I’ve noticed my cats chewing more enthusiastically and even engaging in more active play, which is great for their overall health. I think this is a great toy! I love that there's gall fruit hanging off one of the ends. It's a perfect teaser toy for when you're playing and swing the rope around for your kitty. But it also is a nice little treat for them to chew on. It's gall fruit, which is the fruit from the silvervine plant, so some cats really react to that! My kitty loves to hold on to the rope and chew on it, which is good for her teeth. It's nice that you get three of them, and the plastic bag that it comes in contains a small bag of catnip that helps keep the scent of the catnip in the ropes. So I like to rotate the ropes out for my kitty. I'll keep two in the bag, and then pull one out for her to play, and then after a little bit of time I'll put that one back in the bag and pull out another one. Just so she gets the fresh scent of the catnip. It's very very durable, my cat is a chewer and toy is still in good shape. I honestly recommend all the products from this company, it's a great company. We have a bunch of toys and my cat loves all of them. Not to mention that customer service is amazing . They respond extremely quickly and are extremely helpful. So I highly recommend this toy but I also just recommend this company in general. As you can see from the video I posted, my cat, gwen, loves her rope toy. I also share a picture where you can see she is debating and torn between two potaroma toys, her rope toy but also her three in one interactive toy (which I also cannot recommend enough!! It is her favorite toy ever. I got it here on amazon, definitely recommend that you take a gander at it, such a fun toy, bunch of options for it, batteries last over 30 days, i know I'm doing a review for another product but since the video shows both I figured I would talk about that one too!) Again I highly recommend these ropes , and the company in general.

These chew ropes look simple, but to the cat it is something to roll around with, chewing and bunny kicking. They must have a certain amount of catnip scent, although I didn't smell it. Each rope (there are 3 in the pack), has a little dangly brown object at one end. The package says it is gall root. I cut it off as my cat is kind of like a toddler-he will try to chew off and swallow things he should not and it looked like it could be a chocking hazard for him. I'm also going to keep an eye on him when he plays with this to be sure he does not pull off and swallow the rope fringe at either end. So that is why I only gave 4 stars. Otherwise, it is a good toy, and the company, Potaroma, makes good quality cat toys. I've purchased several of their toys and the cat still plays with one of them every day. I recommend the company for good cat toys that they stand behind.

My cats are all crazy about these ropes. Within an hour of receiving these, I placed another order for more because the cats were all wanting to play with these. They chew on them, lick them, hug them and roll around with them. I have never been compelled to purchase an item again so quickly. They go silly over these ropes and I knew I had to get more for them. They are durable and the cats love to play with them. They are a great value for the money and it's fun to watch them roll around and play with them.

I have an older cat and a kitten. The older cat usually has zero interest in toys UNTIL I opened this for him at Christmas (we had to celebrate early due to travel plans). He hasn’t stopped playing with it! He’s bunny kicking, jumping, rolling around and has played with it for hours! I put all the toys they got for Christmas into their toy box last night and apparently he went and got it out and played over night! 3 ropes for $9?! One of my best purchases this Christmas! Will buy again!

So I can’t definitely did love this. Ultimately, we made the decision to return because the frayed ends at the end of the stick seem very much like a swallowing house because my cat will chew them off. And then there’s this little tiny bowl that hangs from it, which I think might be catnip hardened to catnip or something, but that would be so easy to swallow. It just made me nervous. Even though you can watch your cat while they’re playing with a toy, sometimes things happen so fast where they run off with an item and It’s too late. But she was definitely very, very interested and I struggled with keeping it. I just thought it might be a little too dangerous for my chewy little baby.

Our NFC, Luna, loves to chew on EVERYTHING - especially plastic. We have been searching for alternatives for months and the “algorithm” recently found these chew ropes for us. We weren't sure what to expect when we ordered these ropes, but the end results have been outstanding! Luna LOVES her rope and takes it everywhere with her. Since we gave her something of HER OWN to chew on she hasn’t sniffed at anything dangerous.

My cat Benny is absolutely obsessed with the Potaroma Cat Toys Chew Ropes. They are such a fun little set, and he loves batting them around and self-playing with them throughout the day. The refillable natural catnip is a great touch because it keeps him interested, and the ropes seem safe and durable enough for him to chew on without me worrying. It’s honestly one of the few toys he keeps going back to on his own, which says a lot. Definitely a great buy for any cat who loves to stay entertained!

Not a cat toy. Has a squeaker on the inside and no catnip. I have 4 cats and not a single one played with them. They are a cute design but shall have to give it to someone with a small dog.

My cat loves these. Per other people's comments. I put them back the plastic zip lock bag with the catnip sachet and rotate them to keep them smelling like catnip. I have been doing this for 3 months so far. My cat loves when I swap them over.
