I used this as soon as I received it. It is very useful in leatherwork. Leather is often hand stitched, for which we punch holes with specific chisels. These are sometimes difficult to pull out of the leather and this is where this tool comes in. I use it to hold the leather down firmly in place while pulling out the chisel.
