I have been taking these for a few months - i switched over from an off-the-shelf brand i was purchasing at local grocery stores and pharmacies - and these seem to work better. The pill itself is pretty big but tehy're still easy to swallow. They don't taste like anything, which helps. But in general these seem to have me in better health than the other brand i was using before. I guess they're stronger - i am not sure how that all works, but i am sticking with this.

The container of packaging is smaller than the size I usually purchase. The pills are smaller as well easy to take easy to break if needed.

For health reasons, my doctor instructed me to take Calcium and Vitamin D on a daily basis. Swisse Calcium and Vitamin D combined into one tablet make it easier for me to take instead of having to take Calcium tablets and Vitamin D tablets all separately. Love this product!

The ingredients in this calcium and Vitamin D supplement are similar to those of the brand name that my doctor recommended. I have no complaints about the important ingredients. It's a big, hand-spanning, plastic jar of vitamins--there are 300 inside. However, the directions say you have to take four or even five tablets to get the same dose as the leading name brand! Seriously? The convenience of taking one table per day and getting a comparable dosage--well, it just can't compare to keeping track of four or five tablets a day. The directions say to take it after a meal, if possible. All four or five? Or spread throughout the day? Too inconvenient, I say. For some reason, the label says that these are "mini tabs." Okay. I could understand, then, the multiple doses per day. However, these big, yellow tabs are wider and longer than the name brand tablets! Where does "mini" come in? They must be full of filler to have to keep the important ingredients to such a minimum in each tablet. These are not convincing enough or user-friendly enough to lure me away from the name brand. I wouldn't order them again.
