What an absolute Gem! I love 💕 it
Well I used this little gem & wow! I moved about two years ago from crazy California to Alabama and hadn’t been able to find my whetstone. I have an amazing Henckles knives set which are German steel & top notch. (Japanese steel is great also but I have more knives forged from German steel because they last a lifetime if cared for.) Once I used this whetstone, I remembered how cooking was made more enjoyable using a Henckle’s product that allowed you to work the knife rather than the knife working you. (If that didn’t make sense to you, you probably should consider upgrading your knives because it makes all the difference in the world whether you’re a home cook or professional chef). This little gem should not be overlooked because of the great price. It’s a steal imho. Tip: I use the whetstone dry, it just works best for me & I place the knife tip on a wet towel and run the stone down the blade until I get a good spur which indicates the blade is sharpening. It’s faster and gives a beautiful edge in no time. Yes! I highly recommended

Works great for me
Great cheap sharpening stone if you’re good with it. Gets stuff sharper than most people are comfortable with, great for utility knives/I use on kitchen knives too- not the best, but fast and easy and cheap. I use it dry and blow off/vacuum after use.

Great Quality
I was really impressed with this sharpening stone. It’s easy to use, feels solid, and brought my knives back to razor sharp in no time. The grit balance is just right, and it makes sharpening feel smooth and efficient. Definitely worth the purchase—highly recommend for anyone wanting to keep their blades in top shape.

Quite good for ordinary steel
I bought this stone to sharpen my kitchen knives and a couple of my folding knives. It does the job quite well. I’ve sharpened or touched up knives on it about 20–30 times already. It works for bringing dull knives to the point where they can easily slice a sheet of paper. Of course, I’ve had stones that were much more convenient, but this one is very cheap and still gets the job done. For knives of normal length, about 3–8 inches, it’s relatively comfortable to use (although I used to sharpen such knives with very small stones and a different technique). It probably won’t handle very hard steel — overall, the stone is fairly soft.

I’m no knife sharpening guru but
Showed up in one piece, the rubber stand works great holds it solid, It’s a proper stone in my eyes.
