This patch kit worked perfectly. I tried the patch that came with the air mattress, and it didn't even last a day. I used this and works perfectly. Note: It kinda melts the vinyl, which makes for a perfect seal, but makes the finish kinda wavy. This worked for me: clean the area for patch. Use a patch with rounded edges, maybe 1 inch all around larger than hole. For a small hole, this would be a 1.5 to 2 inch circle. Apply enough glue so entire area under patch is wet. You will see this when you use the scraper. You should be able to push all bubbles out from under patch, wipe up any excess glue that came out, and use something heavy to set it. Keep pressure on patch for 24hrs, then good to go!

I used this to patch a pin sized puncture in an inflatable ground pad. I applied to much product and the patch rolled up as a result (just like the instructions warned). So I stacked some heavy stuff on the patch and left it for a few hours. I was skeptical, but it did hold air once it was dried.

Used this product on an air mattress. Did not fix my problem as the mattress still has a slow leak.

We were on vacation and sleeping on an air mattress that had a slow leak... surprisingly enough, we found it and ordered this, with prime, we got it same day so it was fixed before we slept again. We stayed 4 more nights and the mattress held air without needing any added. Totally impressed! There were 2 adults on that mattress, between the 2 approx 325 lbs...that's pretty good quality if you ask me.

I had bought this for my brothers air mattress after my cat thought it was fun to poke holes in his mattress. Originally I was skeptical with a few of the reviews of it "not being easy" or "not working properly" but I decided to buy it since the traditional repair kits for air mattress's usually don't work well and tend to still leak after a day or two and this one looked more promising. I followed the directions and it worked amazingly! No leaks after a week so far! The best advice I can give is: Less is more. I cut a little piece of the plastic to fit the hole, leaving a little bit bigger than the hole to allow it to glue to the mattress and put very little of the sealant on the plastic piece. I actually didn't need to squeeze any product out as it slowly came out and I just smeared that onto the plastic so that it coated most of the plastic. I placed it on the hole and used the scrapper to make sure the glue spread evenly, leaving no gaps or air bubbles. After that it was a waiting game, I put a heavy object over it and waited 24 hours until it was dry and now the air mattress doesn't leak!
