Great idea, concept is excellent
Great idea, concept is excellent, however does not hold up when used in surf! The actual component that secures the camera to the large diameter base detached which renders it useless. I believe the problem is the bonding material utilized might be just to weak for for the job at hand. What I might attempt to do is re-secure the detached component with an industrial strength epoxy and then hope for the best. In summary, use it only in gentle waters like the harbor or flat days, definitely don't use it in the surf or be forewarned and possibly stand the chance of loosing your camera!

Fantastic.. the adhesive could be a little stronger if being used on an inflatable.. but that's easily fixable.
