Intelligent Nutrients Pure Plenty Shampoo, Clarifies and Fortifies Fine, Thinning Hair, Organic Scalp-Stimulating Formula, Vegan, 8.5 Oz

I would not normally spend this much on a bottle of shampoo - so I was excited when given the opportunity to try it. At first - I was not sure I liked the smell of it. After having used it a few times though - it has grown on me. I usually use just a couple of squirts on my hair, which hits my lower back, and then wash it twice. It lathers really well and rinses out easily. I very seldom use products in my hair after I wash it - and then I allow it to dry naturally. Several times - I have had friends comment on how soft my hair feels after having used this shampoo. While the price is an amount that I am slightly uncomfortable with, it seems to be a great product. The bottle is very large, and with the small amount of shampoo that I have to use each washing - I suspect that this bottle with last quite a while. That in itself might make me consider ordering more when I finish this bottle up. Definitely a very good product and I love the way it makes my fair feel when I use it. First I have to say this is a quality product. I am very picky when it comes to what I put on my hair and have to say I am impressed so far. I have used this product for about 3 weeks and feel that I do have to do a second wash it get a nice suds but washes out nicely leaving a very clean essential oil smell and the shampoo does not feel like leaves a residue. I have normally thick hair but it is also fine so took a chance with this one and do feel that my hair does feel like it has more volume since I started this shampoo. I have very sensitive skin and have not had any irritation. Prior to purchasing I researched this brand and realized that this company was started by the granddaughter and partner of the original Aveda founder and her grandfathers original recipes. I definitely get the Aveda scent/feel when I use this product. I will not lie it is VERY pricey but for the amount you get, the price is on point for the quality. I will purchase again in the future and would definitely recommend.

This is one huge bottle of shampoo. And, considering it's not an everyday use type, I think it will last awhile! The bottle itself is kind of interesting, sort of like silicone. Maybe it is silicone.For my experience personally I love the scent first of all. And it does work well to get my hair feeling really clean but not stripped as some clarifying shampoos can. My hair is definitely fine and thin and after using this feels like it has a bit extra "oomph," not flat. I've used it with and without styling products afterwards and I've liked the results.It lathers and rinses out well. The scent is sort of spa like and very evident while using but very faint after rinsing.

I did not get to even try it. The package was full of some oily thing, when I opened it to check the seal, a hole in the middle of it, cannot imagine how it happened by accident, so wondering if it was opened and something dropped on it. Returning without even trying. Hoping nothing bad as on it because it leaked all over the packaging.

This shampoo is super expensive but you do get a lot of product and it works well for keeping the hair clean and healthy

The first thing I noticed about this shampoo is the scent -- very "herbal-y", to me. I enjoy it, but it is strong, and long-lasting, so if you don't care for it that could be an issue. It doesn't lather profusely, which actually can be an indicator of a quality shampoo -- sudsing can be a result of extraneous ingredients added just to get that effect. I massage it into my scalp for a minute or 2, then work it through to the ends of my hair. It rinses out well; leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and hair feeling clean, but not overly-stripped.However: I noted the product was a bit slow to dispense, after a few uses. I removed the nozzled cap. There'd been a clear seal beneath it; ragged edges show it'd been torn away before I received the bottle. It seems appropriately full, minus what I've used, and I've experienced no "ill effects" -- but I'm not a fan of receiving anything that was possibly tampered with, in any way. Intelligent Nutrients should consider an exterior seal that will better prevent tampering and/or alert a consumer to the possibility of it. I'd like to give 5 stars for a shampoo that suits my needs well, and that I think may suit others' -- but can't, due to this issue.

First of all, I LOVE the fresh fragrance of this shampoo! It lingers even after shampooing. It lathers up well. You only need to use a bit of it to wash your hair. It does fortify hair, even if you do not have thinning hair, and who doesn’t need to strengthen their hair? There are 8.5 fl oz in the bottle, which comes with an easy to use cap, allowing you to dispense a small amount. This shampoo is expensive, but so are similar quality shampoos at hair salons. You can’t buy a product like this at a regular store. This shampoo did a good job of cleaning my hair of residue left behind by other products, making my hair really soft. Honestly, I was a bit surprised by the cost, but after I tried it, I'm convinced that it is worth it. The bottle is huge so it will last for a while, it's clarifying and I only use it like once or twice a month, and my hair loves this! My hair feels smooth and bouncy after using this. I love the herbal scent, it makes my bath feel like a spa.I have very fine hair and this shampoo works well with my hair type. It gives the volume that I wanted and I'm happy that I don't see any hair falls during showering.
