Works perfectly as described.
I used this tool to test out on a few shop tags and found that it works well for removing them without any issue, there are 2 holes drilled to affix to a counter with. The metal does feel a bit light but so far has held up. this device I feel would be a good replacement should your counter top removal tool break. This works for removing tags but only selected tags, for example Sensormatic tags. Once first view, you think this is just a hook, but then you look closer at it and it's really nicely made, the machining quality is really nice and has the detail and strength you don't see on first investigation

Not worth buying
It’s very light and the magnet is not strong enough to remove the tag . Waste of money
