(Edit) Turn signal/flasher operation actually works
(Date 8/2/2021) I identified a clarification that needs added to the below review that I submitted originally. First to summarize: These lights will work in a flashing application if the power source provides a smooth DC current. (For example, the vehicle's regular DC power system.) These lights will not work in a flashing application if the power source provides a pulsed DC current. (For example, an unfiltered bridge rectifier.) The battery that I had installed originally was weak and on a battery charger that was charging the battery at the time that I had tested the lights out in the vehicle. The charger I have puts out a non filtered DC current and is "choppy." Apparently these lights don't like that when being switched repeatedly in a short time period. I discovered, (a year later in a "well it's better than nothing" situation), when I needed to replace one of the turn signal lights and had only one of these to replace it with that it worked just fine. That is when I realized that on clean battery power the lights will switch on and off without any problems. I have been using the lights now in a turn signal application for a year and they are working fine so far. I left the below review as it was written originally because I see that some people have marked this review as "Helpful." To add clarification to the below review since it is not necessarily false, it is only in a specific case: The lights have to be powered from a "smooth" DC source to work in a flashing type application. (Date: 3/2/2019) This review is based on using the lights in a turn signal application only. The LED lights are as advertised. They are bright and they are not polarity sensitive. You can connect them in both positive to center and common to the outer case, or positive to the outer case and common to center and it does light up. I used these to replace turn signals bulbs that use these style base. The led will light with the first pulse, but then will not fully light as the turn signal continues to run. They flicker dimly and inconsistently with each pulse. They will eventually not light at all. They have a minimum time powered off before they will light again and the turn signal pulse frequency is shorter than that time. If you connect the LED to a steady power source and turn the power on and don't pulse it, the light comes on instantly and stays lit. It does this in both polarity configurations. If you turn it on and off, you have to pulse at longer than 2 second intervals to get the light to come on and stay on each time. This is also true for both polarity configurations. Unfortunately turn signal controllers pulse at around once per second or a little faster. Overall impression of the LED as a a light: It is bright and white. It will work well for an application that does not require turning on and off on a short period. I don't know if the product will have a long life, but the construction appears to be good. Overall impression of the LED as a turn signal or flasher: Non functional.

very bright, great running light
bought this for a BMW airhead headlight which runs a secondary 3w bulb as a running/parking lamp. bright enough that I do not need to turn on the headlight at all during daytime running, just run in parking light mode. no idea on durability, but so far so good and saves the voltage draw of the H4.

Not your average map light bulb.
When they say super bright, they mean super bright. I bought these as a replacement for an incandescent light for my console sound board. The light was so bright, I had to put some gaff tape over it to cut out some of the light. It's worth it though, the incandescent bulbs were burning out all the time, but these should out last the life of the board. The color temperature is a little cooler than the incandescents but they still look okay, plus they are only half the price, less than half the wattage of the 12 watt bulb it replaced, and 8 times the brightness.

Lights the way, The right way.
For what I needed them for the item fit perfectly and works perfectly. Nice and bright. Could not ask for a better fit in both fit and function. Better than the alternative.

They are bright just one failed after 4.5 years.
TMTR (TooMuchToRead) -Bright, Long-Lasting LEDs (4.5+ Years!), One Bulb Failed Eventually These PHINLION LEDs provided a significant, bright white upgrade to my car's interior lights and lasted over 4.5 years – far beyond the 1-year warranty. One bulb recently failed, but the overall lifespan and brightness make them a worthwhile purchase. I purchased a set of these PHINLION LED bulbs for various interior lights in my car (map lights, dome light, glove box, instrument panel) over four and a half years ago – way back in late 2020! I was immediately impressed with how bright and white the light was. The 6000K xenon white is a huge improvement over the old yellowish incandescent bulbs. They really made the interior feel more modern and made it much easier to see things at night. For the vast majority of that time, all the bulbs worked flawlessly. They were a fantastic upgrade and I was very happy with the purchase. However, just yesterday, one of the bulbs finally gave out. While it's a bit disappointing that one failed, I have to say that getting over 4.5 years of use out of LED bulbs like this is actually quite impressive. They definitely outlasted the 1-year warranty by a significant margin! Overall, I'm still quite satisfied with these PHINLION LEDs. The brightness was excellent, and the lifespan of the majority of the bulbs was outstanding. Even with one failing after so many years, I still feel like they provided good value for the money. If you're looking for a bright, white upgrade for your interior lights and are okay with the possibility of a bulb failing after several years (which seems reasonable), these are definitely worth considering.

Great for Bmw E90 LCI DRL Bulbs
They are a great replacement to the DRL angel eye bulbs that usually cost more. There is a little bit of work involved with removing the bulbs and taking out the Ba9s bulb from the module but it is straight forward and you still keep the original but brighter look. Cheaper than buying those other led kits if you want to replace the angel eye bulbs.

Ordered it as replacement of headlamp parking globe for my motorbike. Fitted perfectly. No issues and is very bright compared to old halogen globe.

These fit my Pfaff 2170 perfectly. Glad to find an LED option for this machine as it's hard to find this base on sewing machine bulbs! And I have a spare.

Worked perfectly with clear lens in aftermarket motorcycle signals.

I wanted these for daytime running lights on my old Mercedes. The previous brightest BA9 bulbs I could find were halogen and really not very bright. I looked at several LED bulbs but they were very wide or very long at light emitting end and would not fit in my Hella housings. These are only very slightly wider than at the bayonet end, are not extremely long, and put out a bright white light which is just about right for my DRL's. Good product which appears well made.
