Carbide drill bit is required to drill wholes for mounting this bracket. Honestly they should just sell one with the kit. Or atleast let u know that u need a 1/4bor 5/16 carbide drill bit for drilling through hardened steel..

Thought it was a good idea I use all sorts of tools to remove windshields and seen and bought the product used it 3 times and the welds snapped and broke reached out to the company and received no respons back about the issue

You can modify the m12 or m18 sawzall with this to adapt windshield cut out blades. The only appeal is for cheapskate short cutting hacks. The possible damage caused outweighs the savings of the real tool. Just take a minute to think it through and then make your own decisions.

Don't waste your money unless you have a somebody can drill on a shop your sow saw to make it work auto glass specialist I will know what I'm talking about
