I bought this to BBQ with. I haven't used it for that yet but I think it should be perfect. The light feels solid and well made. It is about 11 inches long and about a 2 and 1/2 inch circumference. The unit angles 5 different ways and has 2 lights and 1 button on the side. 1 light is on top and 1 light is on the side. The top light allows you to use it as a regular handheld flashlight. The side light allows you to use it secured by it's base. The on button is located on the side. Press the button once to turn the top light on, a second time to turn the side light on and a third time to turn the side light brighter. Pressing again shuts it off. The base has a strong magnet. The magnet seems very powerful. Powerful enough to hold the light upright or sideways or to use it to pick up screws or fallen nails and such. There is a plastic hook on top that swivels and allows you to hang the light. The hook seems fragile and looks like it will not take a lot of stress and will probably break. There were no directions but it's simple enough to figure everything out. There is a little rubber cover below the power button near it's base that opens up to allow charging. The charger and cable were included. I will follow up if there any issues or anything to add.

Mine broke within the first day and wouldn't charge. I loved this item so much I fixed it instead of returning it. Due to a poor design, the bending of the light will tug on the connectors and render it useless. If you're handy it's a quick fix and based on other bad reviews it's likely the only problem these lights have.Aside from it breaking, and now assuming it's fixed: this is the brightest small light I've ever seen and for the price it's a great deal. Compare this to a Dewalt light, that requires and additional battery and charger, and you will see the deal. 160-200 lumens I'd guess based on an existing flashlight I have that is 200 lumens. The magnet works great, the device is light weight, lasts well over 4 hours, and seems to charge within that time. Charging indicator lets you know it's full. Pure white, no blue or amber. Provides great floodlight illumination. Perfect for automotive, attics, tight spaces.

Had this light for about a month love it! Use it everyday battery life is great! Very bright light! Strong magnet! Get flexabilty for giving me light in the right angle when working on cars! Only thing that i have to say bad about this kight is that it stoped charging after a month was ready to buy another one if i couldnt fix it like the light that much! Opened it up & found one of the connecters on the back on the led that gives it power to come loose. Re attached it added some gorilla glue. So it stays for sure. & boom lights working perfect again! If it happens to you just take it apart & check the connecter might save you 40 bucks!

This is my favorite new gadget! I lent my corded work light to someone and never got it back, so I needed to replace it. This one is inexpensive and has even cooler features, so it looks like the light thief did me a favor!First, I LOVE that it's cordless! No more worrying about extension cords to get the light to reach just where I need it, or constantly tripping over and tying up the excess cord to keep it out of the way while I work. And this light is SUPER BRIGHT. My old work light didn't even come close.It has a hook at the top, which my old light also had, and which makes it easy to get light right where you need it. But this one rotates on the hook so that no matter which way it hangs, you can always point the light right where you need it.Then there are the fancy features that my old light didn't have at all: This light can bend to fit into different areas, and has a magnet on the bottom so it can attach to things even without the hook! And it even comes with a car charger!I'm so excited about this cordless work light that now I can't wait to use it on a project! Time for some home improvement!

This started out as a great product. Light was bright, magnet was super handy. Then it started blinking funny and spazzing out on me. So I put it in the vice and made myself feel better. It's not spazzing anymore. Now I have to find an LED work light that works.UPDATE:When I bought this light, I thought that the description said it was waterproof because it said waterproof rating IP20 in the description. Well, I looked up waterproof rating IP20 and that means it is not waterproof (see below). I got it very wet while washing my tractor, so maybe that's why it failed.In the meantime, I bought a couple of other lights and they are all not as versatile as this one. None of the other lights could do it all: bend, rotate, magnetic base, hook and rechargeable. So I bought another one. I'll update this review to 3 stars for now.
