This is our 3rd cat door and by far my favorite. The direction/lock control works perfectly and can’t be altered/moved by the pets passing through the door, which was a huge issue with the last door we had. This one is very well made, I expect it to last a long time. It’s easy to install and our two cats easily adjusted to pushing it open to come through when it’s unlocked. I especially love the one-way (in either direction) feature. In the evening I switch it to let them downstairs but they can’t come back up. They basically put themselves to bed at night so we can sleep peacefully.

I love this thing!! Changed my cats life! Lol. There is a small magnet where it closes (so it stays shut and doesn't swing back and forth), my kitty didn't understand 'just push a tiny bit harder to open it' ...so, I took the tiny magnet out, and it actually works SO much better! It doesn't swing freely back and forth like you would think (swings once and stops when he comes through the door)...love this product.

I don't actually have my cat yet, but I've gotten this installed ahead of time and I think it will work very well. The door is pretty quiet and since it is a little tinted it doesn't let much light through at night. The lock seems good and I dont think it will shift easily (so no accidental locking out or anything). Installation is straight forward but you will need to use a jig saw for the hole. My friend did that part for me and he managed fine, but if you have no experience with using a jig saw it might be a challenge. The door seems to seal pretty well too although I doubt it is waterproof or fully wind proof. Overall it looks great and sturdy and I think it is worth the money for sure!

Easy install comes with everything needed the only thing it needs is better screws id use ones you already have for strength

Great little cat door which I installed on my bedroom door. The only issue I’ve had, which isn’t the fault of the manufacturer, but rather a very stubborn 10 year old cat, is that she will go OUT the door, but will not come back in. I know the reason why though. She can see out the door leading to the living room, but the other side is meant to be not see through (so that you can’t peek into the bedroom from the living room presumably). It clearly freaks her out that she cannot see through the cat door so she is refusing to go through it. I’m certain that she will eventually figure it out, or I’ll figure out a way to lure her through it. I’ve already tried forcing her through it, but clearly that hasn’t worked to make her voluntarily go through. Anyway, the door is quite durable and made of quality plastic. I’m impressed at how nice it actually looks on my newly painted door. It wasn’t overly expensive. I also like that you can lock it in either direction if you want to, which is not a feature that I’ve yet found necessary to use. There is a magnet that holds the door in place, which at the moment may be one of the issues that I’m having with getting my stubborn fur baby to go in the other way. Like I said, I’ll get that problem worked out. Anyway, I’m quite happy that this is the model I chose as the aesthetic was important to me.

This cat door had very good instructions. With the correct tools it's pretty easy to install. It's the perfect size. It looks great. In the beginning it worked great! The cats took to it instantly. However, the listing says the door is interior / exterior. Maybe it would be fine in a warmer climate but it's definitely not right for a New York winter. There's no ice or snow on it but the door gets stuck and won't open in either direction when it gets really cold. If I lived somewhere warmer or if I was using this inside it would be perfect. If you live in the cold and you're planning on using this outside, you might want to try a different cat door.

Arrived on time and intact. It installed easily and works as it should. It actually fit in the same cutout as thr old door with little adjustment. Time will tell about the durability. Sometimes the cats are adamant on going out in the catio and will try the door many times.

Helaas paste het luikje niet. Het is een erg mooi luikje en erg stevig Echter de schroeven zijn waardeloos,na bv 1x in en helaas weer uit moeten draaien waren ze al dol gedraaid,gelukkig is mijn vriendin erg handig en kreeg ze eruit. Jammer slechte schroeven bij een erg solide luikje. W.D
