getting the most out of roots magic 7

Product arrived on time and as described I plan to use it as a reference book to go along with CD version of the program by the same name.

This book will cannot be used with the new Magic Root eight. They have changed the program completely. Wished I had known that before purchasing it.

I was disappointed in the book. It's written for those who know nothing about genealogy or family trees. As it should be, but I expected there to be instructions on how RM syncs and coordinates with various genealogy systems like ancestry.com and MyHeritage. I didn't see anything on those topics other than the "hints" for adding information.

I didn't find this book helpful. They touched on many of the database basics, but a further explanation of everything in this book would have been helpful. Especially the Reports.

The ebook version is currently available at RootsMagic for $4.95.

What?! Charging $171.00-$175.00 for a book I can go on the RootsMagic website and get for $14.95????? It's the very SAME book! Beyond unbelievable!!!!!
