These are nice quality accessories that work well nothing fancy but nice. The frothing pitcher is a nice metal not too thin, the knock box is thick plastic and perfect size for my 51mm portafilter and the digital scale seems to be accurate as I tested it against another scale.

Premium Espresso Accessories..I took a good amount of time to learn what I could about these, because to be honest, I, as many others did, ordered this set without knowing what the heck all the pieces are or do lol.Now, being better informed, I feel I can advise accordingly - and what I will say is from the very moment of unboxing, I felt like Kaffe makes some quality accessories.The scale ⚖️upon first glance, I freakin love it. The styling, on the border of minimalistic and classy. Some say it's cheap and/or doesnt work well. Though it is a very light plastic, I actually like that. As long as it works, right? Well, the first few tries it seemed to be considerably off, but I wasn't using a 100% fool proof method of testing. So I tested again and again and again. And it seems to be more accurate now than before, so not really sure if it was not calibrated or what, but I like it. And I love the silicone pad included with it, though you have to consider the balance achieved by having it cover the stage vs weighing without it.The Knock Box 📦🥊Again, not being familiar with this item, I naturally questioned it's relevance. But now I see the good in it, and if one wanted to, you could line the "box" for even easier disposal of the grounds. Unless, of course you compost, in which case it's easier without lining. The knocker (?) seems to be of plastic, and from my limited experience I can tell you that it would've maybe been better if bamboo or some other non-porous type wood, or silicone, perhaps- who knows how long plastic will last in this case. Once it cracks or breaks, it's no longer usable.The Tamper Mat 🔨Some have said it's too thin, but what do I say? I say it's still functional and is better than not having one at all. i Like the form that allows you to have it flush against a counter edge for better stability when in use, since I've learned that even distribution is crucial with espresso. Also, Silicone = easy to clean/ preferred.The Milk Pitcher 🥛🪣I can see how some have mentioned the handle being "cheap", yet, how much liquid you plan to put in there bro? And like, liquid gold or lead or somethin? It doesn't really need a heavy-duty handle. It's a small frothing pitcher and I like that it's on the smaller end because small batch quality is where it's at. You don't see Baristas making huge pots/carafes of espresso. This is the way!**Now, when accessing the QR code on the box - the one that promises recipes and how-tos? This code sends you to their main page which shows the many quality products Kaffe has available. BUT, to find all the nuggets about best practices and such, you will want to:>Click on the hamburger in the top right corner (i.e. the 3 horizontal, parallel lines that access the menu)> Go to Blog> Explore and enjoy! And you get to learn more about them as a company which is cool.

1. Knock box - that is the best piece of the set. It is sturdy, light, and it works like a knock box should2. The frothing pitcher is good quality, it works ok3. The scale is not accurate. I measured against other precision scales that I have, all very close in what they show, this scale shows more than 1g difference. As a matter of fact, it shows different numbers depending on where you place your object on the square mat. It also takes seconds to update when coffee is dripping from my espresso machine, totally useless for what is is advertised for - I am supposed to know exactly when to stop my extraction, seconds later I end up with 5-10g more, which is significant. I am using the scale for regular kitchen stuff, where I do have to be precise.4. The tamping mat is good quality, but super small, and that round upper lip where the portafilter is supposed to go doesn't fit my 58 mm portafilter - it would work much better without it, if the surface would be flat instead that would make it better. Pretty useless because of size and upper round lip.

We are a coffee loving family. I ordered this to help with the espresso making in the house. This is a good starter set. Not that expensive and has all the tools you need to up your coffee game. This set would be the perfect gift too.
