Having has an ileostomy for about 7 years I’ve tried all sorts of different appliances. The doctor originally recommended and had me using a 2-piece setup that was partially covered by my insurance. Even still they were quite expensive. They also stuck out from my body at least a quarter of an inch so I was always self conscious about it, touching it and uncomfortable. After trying different manufacturers I finally found this one and am very pleased with them. It’s 1-piece, lays flat so it doesn’t bulge outwards so I’m not embarrassed to have people see. It also has an additional adhesive area that gives additional coverage. These are much less expensive than the ones my insurance covered, so much less that I don’t even go through my insurance, I just pay for them. The only thing I don’t like about them is they’re clear. I do wear a belt over them so it’s really not an issue.

So unfortunately, I have a temporary colostomy. The insurance company sent different products to me, but my skin was extremely sensitive and I was turning red and getting rashes plus the way my ostomy is set up the two piece products weren’t working for me. On a whim, I found these and they are phenomenal. Unfortunately I do have to change them 2 to 3 times a day so my skin is a little raw but well worth it. I love the fact that there are two ply and they have a filter and they just work for me. It’s difficult in the summer because I’ve received a few boxes with adhesive was so gummy that I couldn’t get it off of my skin. I attribute that to most likely shipping from the manufacturer to the seller and then from the seller to me but I was able to return them and get regular bags , so it was basically a win-win. Hopefully next month they’ll be able to do a reversal so I’ll be donating whatever I have left but grateful that they saved my life.

These bags do not come off easy. I use adhesive remover (lots of it) and it just melts the sticky part. Takes 10 minutes to get the bag off. Skin pulling, it is horrible. I will not be ordering these again.

I buy these a lost. Usually a box of the 20pc every 1½ months. I've had to use these for 12 years so far. The pro do out way the cons. I use to get name brand bags like hollister and Convatec. Few years back I went to the beach and I noticed my bags could keep up with the heat. So the next year I bought these because they have a foam like base that doesn't warp due to heat. They also last longer if you have diarrhea all the time like I do. I've never had any issues, other then the last few orders. The carbon air filter keeps failing. Not sure why? I still buy them though. I just place a couple drops of super glue on the other bags before I need them. Seems to do the trick.

The quality of these bags are insanely amazing and durable. I got these for my dad and he has had NO complaints AT ALL!! Very easy for him to use/change. I’ve used other brands and have heard so many complaints from my dad about those other brands, and not hearing a single one from this brand has been amazing and I just KNOW he is comfortable using these.

I have had an ostomy for years and have purchased this product many times. It has always been very reliable. This last order has me disappointed. Nothing about my personal area for application has changed. The last order, bags stayed in place 8 to 10 days with no issues. This last order the bags last 3 sometimes 4 days and after the first full day they leak from the filter area. Could be there was an issue with assembly. The leakage from the filter area is the biggest deal breaker for me. Will be trying a different brand for now.
