Love these lights, you can see them in daylight too. Give a lovely warm white colour glow. We fitted them across the top back fence as you see. We choose unbreakable glass bulbs so they didn’t break if they banged against the fence. Also, choose electric plug, so we can switch them on and off when we want (my partner fitted a remote control, instead of a timer switch). You will need to get the extension lead, as the wire is very short from the last bulb to the plug. My partner had a bit of trouble trying to get the extension lead to line up/connect, but once done, they were very easy to fit on the fence with the clips on the bulbs. Let’s hope they last! Very pleased with them!

We bought 2 of these sets for our pergola. Easy to put up and put on. Looks very nice. Only downside is a couple of the bulbs have got water inside so am not sure what these will do In The long term. I emailed supplier to get replacement bulbs but didn’t receive any even after being told they were sent out. Overall good value for money and you can attach these sets together to form longer lines.

Brought the 25ft LED version of these and I have to say they are just about perfect. I did think about buying solar based lights but was never convinced they would be bright enough so plumbed for these. The light they give is a lovely warm light - not white - and we have found the 25 bulbs on this version give off enough light to sit comfortably with a nice glass of wine and nibbles without feeling like you have a floodlight in your face. Would defo buy again. Some reviews talk about broken bulbs - The ones I got are plastic and can't see how they would break, so I'm assuming the reviews that mention smashed or buzzing bulbs are for the non-LED versions? Just thought I'd mention it. Update: If you are looking to get an extension cable I would advise you wait until you have your lights as the "Often brought together" suggested extension did not fit. My LED version had a deeper socket than the one shown in the photos so the extension would not screw together securely. I sent back and got a different version which was this one - (Important: Only for G40) BRTLX 3M/9.8Ft G40 Extension Lead with IP65 Water Resistance Perfect for BRTLX G40 Bulb LED String Lights [Energy Class A+]. all working fine now.

Was a little sceptical due to some of the reviews stating the product was inferior however i am very impressed with what i received as every bulb worked fine and as you can see from the pictures they mounted quite nice. I didn't use the hooks on the fixings themselves as i wanted the bulbs to be flush mounted therefore opted for some small pin in cable clips and i am very impressed with the end product. The overall lighting from the bulbs offers a nice warm glow, which is enough for to be able to see but not too over powering that they are too bright. I would highly recommend these bulbs for anyone looking to purchase festoon lighting.
