Worked well for our intended purpose.
I bought this mount as I wanted to convert a low cost propane grill to use on our sail boat. Due to the fact that we store our boat in dry storage with other boats I did not want to spend 200 on a true boat grill. So I spent 20 on a table top grill at Menards then converted to use this mount. The mount is very strong and light. The clamp is secure and holds very well. For the cost difference it was a great find. I was pleased to see it came with the hold down hardware to mount to the grill as it saved me from searching for the right hardware.

Perfect for any small grill! With mods
Will update with pictures!Works perfect on our pontoon! Does not have to be used with the listed grill, if you're able to do some easy modifications with a drill and bit!We actually used bought 2 brackets and bought a small propane grill from Meijer for $40, drilled holes in the bottom of the grill in the same spots as the existing holes in the brackets, took out the provided thumb screws, and just used nuts and bolts! When not in use, we undo the brackets from the railing and put it away in a compartment on the pontoon! I have no problem loosening the 8 bolts on the railing side of the brackets to put it away. I would be able to use my shore cover if they stayed on and just took the grill off!We did try to use just one bracket with it this weekend, but we didn't like the unsturdiness of the grill with just a bracket in the middle.

Great product! Keep an eye on Hardware
Held my Kuma grill perfectly in place with very little worry while boating. Put my grill away and left the hardware in place with attached retaining clips while trailering home and that was a mistake......Hardware Gone on first trip. Not the companies fault just my flaw for not considering the loose hardware would shake free and fly off when not holding down the grill.. I will remove the hardware anytime I'm done with the Grill in the future. Company contacted to see about replacement hardware.

Like a Tank
As the headline states this mount is built like a tank. You will need a hex bit to mount it initially, that's not included. My screws were too tight to adjust by hand. The mount holds my Kuuma Pro rock solid, even in choppier conditions. One note: I've gotten in the habit of tightening the bolts after most trips. They loosen just ever so slightly, not to the point where I'm concerned about it coming totally off. I'm going to add some thread tape this next season to hopefully alleviate that. All in all it's a very solid, high quality, mount. Buy with confidence.

Sturdy and useful for more than grills
This is useful for more than just mounting grills. A little work and it can mount almost anything! I used it to mount a solar panel to the stern rail of my boat. The panel is about a foot long. Even with the extra leverage this clamp/grill mount seems extremely sturdy...I suspect I could put my whole weight into it (not going to try though!).It's held up well to quite a bit of thrashing about on the waves so far. I ordered another one in case I have anything else I need to mount to the rail.
