Simple filter, sorta! I made the mistake in ordering a generic same size filter that was cheaper. Same size and it fit but something in the design kept the air cleaner from coming on. It would not work. In looking closer the factory filter is notched a little different probably to make you buy the Membrane Solutions factory filter. Good product and easy t change.

I did a lot of searching to find a good air purifier but the search was worth it when I found this! It It is quiet even at high speed and it does a great job of cleaning the air, even getting rid of cigarette smoke. I’ve tried a number of air purifiers over the years and couldn’t really tell if they were doing anything, but the one really works. There are cheaper purifiers on the market, but this one is worth it because it works so well.

these are a bit harder to install. They don't go in as easily as the other versions. I had thought I had bought the wrong brand at first because they wouldn't allow the machine to come on like the generic ones don't. Once I figured it out it worked without incident.

I have bought this so many times and it's wonderful. No complaints here! It works like a charm in my air purifier

Great product

The first replacement two pack I bought were as far as I know identical to the one the came with the filter unit. This single pack is designed slightly differently and the unit would not turn on unless it was installed in a specific orientation which was odd. I'm sure they have a magnet or piece of metal embedded in it to make sure only genuine filters work but I spent a few minutes scratching my head before I figured out it only worked when right side up. Otherwise like everyone else says, little spendy but they do seem to work well.
