Buy It! It is quality and great for kids.
I bought this for my little girl who has been taking guitar for a year (she is going from acoustic to electric.) I bought the guitar separately from the amp and cord to make it easy to return one item if one didn’t work. This item includes the pink guitar only.I have been playing guitar for two decades and I have always preferred acoustic. When I put her guitar together to test it before I gifted it to her, it was so amazing. It worked perfectly and it wasn’t a junky, toy guitar. It made me want to get my own electric.I highly recommend this guitar. It is perfect for beginners and kids who have had lessons. It’s quality. I am very excited about our purchase.

Jack’s happy little “Mini Strat” review.
This is a really great little guitar. Very much able to play with the big boys. I am not the least bit disappointed and I own a couple of high end Fenders to compare it to. Thank you, Jack D.

Good quality for the price
Bought for my six-year old. It is still too big for him, but at least he can use it easier than a regular full size. Quality overall is not bad. Noisy pickups, but I mean, I fully expected that. Doesn’t stay in tune all that well, which is a bit disappointing.

Excellent Starter, Especially for the Price
After playing folk and acoustic instruments for many years, I'm starting a journey into electric guitar. I wanted a starter that would give me versatility and fun while playing it (and not something that would break the bank). This guitar does just that - and it's a little smaller to fit my petite frame. The neck is super comfortable to play on and the sound carries that classic Fender twang. It's super basic, but to start, it works great!

Love this Guitar
I purchased this guitar 🎸 for my 7 year old grandson who just recently started taking lessons! I was skeptical about purchasing an electric guitar to start with it worked out perfectly, he will have this guitar for some years, it’s very good quality and sounds amazing!

One of the best purchased I've made
I recently bought both the mini Squier Bass and mini Squier Guitar from Fender. In the case of the guitar, it was particularly because my hand was cramping and my joints were really starting to hurt while stretching to make cord shapes. This thing plays like a dream. The strings it comes with are smaller and less harsh than the ones on my full size Squier guitar. The frets are extremely comfortable in their relative distance, and much easier to play. The one thing to note that might make people think something is wrong is that it seems the volume is MUCH louder out of the guitar itself. On my full size, I'd have to play at 8-10 to get certain kinds of reverb sounds. On this mini, I find that 4-5 is more than sufficient (this is on the guitar, not on the amp). Also, as I noted in a few replies to other reviews, this seems to come with 2 layers of protective film over the white part. After taking off the first one, I was /horrified/ to see a huge 3.5-4.5" scuff on white area above the pickups. Then I found a second layer of film. I pulled that off, and it was perfect underneath. This is now my primary guitar. My soundboard/amp has settings for Acoustic sound, so I use it for acoustic practice as well. This would certainly be the one I'd travel with (if the world wasn't shut down right now).

Low quality
First guitar arrived broken and I returned it immediately. The replacement looks fine, but after tuning it and adjusting some strings were still loose. After checking in 3 different guitar stores the answer was: it’s of low quality, somewhere between a toy and a guitar

Disappointed in the overall quality
I am a Fender (among others) guitar player. I have owned other Squire instruments and felt they were reasonable for the money. This guitar is a disappointment in terms of manufacturing quality. Lots of guitars made in Indonesia are excellent. I have other beginner guitars made there that are great to play. This Squire has a terrible neck finish, poorly functioning tuners and poor neck stability compared to other similar guitars. I gave the guitar 2 stars because the pickups are really good sounding and the switching system works well. Bottom line: if I were beginner and was given this guitar, I might think that playing the guitar is harder than it really is.
