Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker for Women - 3.4 oz EDP Spray

I like the bottle design, pretty, simplistic and durable. The smell: It has a woody, light tobacco-y, leather, but clean/fresh light, almost soapy but not quite, fireplace scent. Some powder note to it. It has a SWEETER Cedar hint on the dry down. So it can lean both unisex but I would say for those who don’t enjoy Cedarwood that is very prominent in notes , this one is lighter and more tolerable. If you’re sensitive to smells, this one could be Ieaning safe. Initial scent from the box I got worried I would smell a granny scent, but just definitely worth giving it a chance and not losing hope and trying it on your skin. This is what I wanted By The Fireplace by Maison M. to smell like. There’s some creaminess to it. Probably the Pistachio note Sarah added into this. Not sure why it went discontinued because it is beautifully crafted and I own nothing like it. I immediately get fall/winter scent to it. Definitely can be an every day scent as well.

This fragrance is deep, woody, spicy and sexy. It leans masculine if you are on the fence. The opening is quite loud but the dry down is much softer and richer. Initially the sillage and projection are huge, but again, after 30 minutes or so it rounds out, becomes creamier and deeper. By the third hour it is a skin scent. I only wish it lasted longer and wasn’t discontinued because this scent is absolutely gorgeous and I would wear it daily if it lasted.

Speaking as someone that never uses more than one shot of a scent, I had to spray this about five times before the scents lingered for more than a minute or two. And, still, the notes are barely evident unless you bury your nose pressed up right against your skin. The woody/Oud type note and patchouli are dominant... with a masculine and strongly medicinal quality. Then, you find the sage is hiding out somewhere in there and it leans into an herbal medicinal scent. But, quickly (even after 5 sprays), it melts away and dissolves into a barely there generic woody scent that has just a hint of something nutty in the background. This one isn't for me. But, it is elegant, clean, calming and pleasant in a barely there way. On the bright side, it smells really amazing on my husband and spritzed onto his leather jacket.

This was a marvelous surprise not only for the price but for it’s quality and fragrance. Stash could pass for a niche perfume. Sweet woods are the dominant notes and they make it lean more towards male side. Still it va be used by anyone who appreciates a great perfume.

Like the scent. Seems to be more fall winter.

Lots of compliments on this one. Very masculine in my opinion but the ladies like this one, and I get many compliments from same sex. I am female and straight.
