OrbitNylon Outdoor Cooling Misting System 1 pk

Legit misters. Great deal.
These are terrific for the price. I bought them to cool my small patio. They produce a very fine mist which does wet the the space below it. But when it's really hot (over 85 or 90) it's not too much. One strand works well on the underside of an umbrella or strung up on a trellis. Some reviews said the nozzles clog up, but mine have not. That might depend on lime or other minerals in the water. NYC water doesn't clog them (after 2 weeks of use). The only downside is positioning the direction of the spray for each nozzle. It takes a little adjusting. Overall, great deal!

It's great when it's actually working
It's great when it's actually working. I use these for the wild birds I feed in my backyard. I need something reliable as I want to keep them cool when it's 110 outside. The nozzles are pretty terrible. I had to purchase extra ones to keep it working. The nozzles weren't even clogged, which I soak in vinegar to unclog. They're just not made well. My advice is to buy an extra pack of nozzles and change them as needed.

No more dying of heat outside!!
I love spending time outside and we entertain on our patio too, but when it's over 100 degrees nobody feels like visiting.....till now!! I bought one and liked it so much I ordered another to cover both patios. They lower the temps to a more moderate level in just moments and don't use a 100 gallons of water doing it! I put mine along the top of our privacy fence and then put a fan in behind it and made it almost like having an a/c unit outside. Easy to put up and take down, convenient hanging hooks too! I read the reviews people wrote about the heads getting stopped up, and they WILL, but as a plumber I'll tell you a trick to keeping them working like new!! Vinegar, just remove the heads and soak then in a little straight vinegar then use a small bristle brush like a toothbrush or nail brush rinse them off and replace them in the mister tubing and they should be like brand new. This year I did that before taking it indoors so we'll see if my "preventive maintenance" works when I put them back outside. I do recommend taking them indoors at the end of summer so that the tubing will last longer since it really wouldn't hurt the brass heads, of course if there's water in them there is a possibility of them freezing and splitting so better safe than sorry!! Hope this helps and if you have any further questions feel free to ask!!

Seriously - save your money and look elsewhere!
As many other reviews experienced, one of the sprayers was totally clogged from the start. Another one sprayed with about half the power of the other four. It's very interesting that the instructions on the box do not mention anything about "flushing" the line before putting the spray heads on - but here on Amazon they do state you need to do that in the product details. Well, Orbit, I don't generally go to Amazon to read instructions; those should be included with the packaging. I tried using compressed air to fix the bad sprayers but it made zero difference. This leads me to think the sprayers are just subpar quality and Orbit is trying to find ways to blame the customer instead of providing a high quality product.I tried calling Orbit to get a couple new sprayers but I sat on hold way longer than it was worth. While sprayers are available by 3rd parties here on Amazon, I don't feel it's the customer's responsibility to pay to fix a crappy product. So, these are going back and I'll find another mister solution.

Works well but a bit damp
Recieved our mister today and after a few hours of use we are happy with the product. Easy to set up, only having to screw the brass nozzles onto the hose fittings. Not mentioned in the instructions, it is a good idea to run water through the hose before attaching the nozzles, to flush out any debris or leftover manufacturing particles. It has six nozzles, runs about halfway around the outside of our 9 ft market umbrella, and came with 5 spring clips to attach it with. a couple of the nozzles drip occasionally, but no big deal. After awhile, it does get things on the table a bit damp, but that is to be expected. Overall, for the money it works well.

Fantastic
Wow, this is so easy to set up, it has misting heads that screw into sockets along the narrow hose, and clips that connect to a fence or wire, even a clothes line, so you can string them up nearly anywhere. I am using this to cool outdoor rabbits, they love it, being it is over one hundred degrees for over a month and a half in the summer here. I use rocks under it to help evaporate the excess water because it is humid here in SC, but in drier areas it would probably not be necessary. I feel like a good rabbit mom because of this product, it has increased their comfort at least fifteen degrees. Fabulous product. Other systems try to make you poke holes into the hose and screw in the misters, and then use glue to hole them in, which is terrible, because the pressure from the water eventually pops the misters out, you won't have that issue with this since they screw in to sockets premade. Also it was really easy to set the water pressure for these, which is a huge issue with others. Wish I could use this inside, but too wet for that, I can imagine this around a patio, or for a dogs kennel, and how great that application would be. It is about ten feet long on the misting side of the hose. I also thought the price was quite fair. Love it!

Recommended (except for bad nozzles)
Just put this up on our pergola to get some cool mist in a very hot summer. For the size of patio I have (10' x 15') I could have used a couple. I can see it being good for an umbrella or to just cover a table area.As others noted it's hard to get the nozzles all pointed down which is important since they will likely drip from something otherwise. I didn't need the clips though since I was affixing to a wood pergola and used small clamps nailed into wood - this made it easier to direct the nozzles.Only negative right now is that two of the nozzles are dripping, which you don't want since it will drive you crazy sitting under it. I'll adjust my rating depending on the resolution. Only other negative for me was the hose connector leaked so had to add another rubber washer.---- Update: two of the nozzles are dripping which is not a good ratio since it only has six. Have to drop the rating. Didn't bother trying to resolve with customer service since can't see easy way to do this, and it's a bit of a time waster to try to do this.

Provides lots of mist to cool down on a hot day
Was super easy to assemble, all the T connections with the misting nozzles will swivel and adjust to direct the spray. Quite happy with how much mist it produces. The lines are 1/4" or so, they are light and easy to affix on to an umbrella or line, its a lot smaller scale than you would imagine. Would note there is no adjustment on the brass nozzles if you do want to close off any but i am sure there are products that can help

Worked for one summer. Plastic nozzles are cheap and will not last
Worked one season. We removed the nozzles for fall/winter as directed and leas than half worked when reassembled. The ones that did work had so much pressure behind them that one by one the plastic part inside the nozzle shot across the yard. Hose is fine but we now need replacement nozzles. Steel are available, this company uses cheap plastic.

This is fantastic for cooling down our lounge area on a hot summer day. works exactly as described. Would have given it 5 stars but it was quite a tedious task to get the nozzles pointed in the direction we wanted them. Make the nozzles easier to direct and you got a 5 star product!

Works great
Had my sons bday party temp was gonna be around 38 degrees Celsius with humidity so I thought this would help as it was a backyard party and it did. Doesn’t get you wet and everyone was talking about it. Only issue is it sometimes clogges but it’s pretty cool unit.
