Gel pack stay cool 5+ hrs
First thing I noticed was the gelPacks are much thicker than the one I had previously. The case was purchased for my husband who is now on insulin as well and travels for work. He loves that it’s small but durable and easy to travel with in carry on.

Great travel item
Simple, compact, gets the job done. I put the whole kit in the freezer the day before travel and packed my meds right before I traveled. Stayed cool for 24 hours. Great price, did the trick.Because the case is soft, not hard plastic, it takes up a little less room which is helpful.

Perfect Insulin Travel Case – Compact, Reliable, and Keeps Meds Cool!
I recently purchased the AUVON Compact Insulin Cooler Travel Case, and after using it for a few trips, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for anyone who needs to carry insulin or other temperature-sensitive medications. As someone who frequently commutes and takes short trips, I needed something that was compact, reliable, and actually kept my insulin cool for a reasonable amount of time—and this case delivered!Cooling Performance – Stays Cold Longer Than ExpectedOne of my biggest concerns when buying an insulin travel case was how long it would actually keep my medication cool. According to the product details, the included ice packs should maintain a safe temperature for 4 to 8 hours depending on the ambient conditions. In my personal experience, when I froze the ice packs overnight and placed them in the case with my insulin, they lasted closer to 6 hours in mild temperatures (~75°F).On a hotter day (about 85°F), the cooling effect lasted around 4 hours, which is still enough time for a short trip. One great feature is that it comes with two ice packs, so if you’re going somewhere for an extended period, you can swap them out as needed. Plus, the ice packs are TSA-approved, meaning I had zero issues bringing them through airport security.Compact and Lightweight – Fits in My Bag EasilyI love that this case is small and doesn’t take up much space. At 7.7 x 3.15 x 1.38 inches, it’s compact enough to fit in my purse, work bag, or backpack without any trouble. It’s also incredibly lightweight, so it’s not a burden to carry around all day.Despite its small size, the case holds everything I need. I can fit two insulin pens, some extra needles, alcohol wipes, and a couple of small refills inside. The elastic straps and mesh pocket help keep everything in place, so nothing moves around or gets damaged while traveling.High-Quality Materials – Feels Durable and Well-InsulatedThe exterior of the case is made of Oxford fabric, which feels sturdy and slightly water-resistant (great for protecting my medication from spills). The interior is lined with thick pearl cotton insulation and an aluminum layer, which helps maintain the internal temperature for longer. The zippers are strong and don’t get stuck, which is something I’ve had issues with in other travel cases before.Perfect for Daily Use and TravelI initially bought this for travel, but I’ve ended up using it almost every day. It’s perfect for carrying insulin to work, on errands, or even just for peace of mind when I’m out for a few hours. If you’re planning a longer trip, I’d recommend bringing an extra ice pack or looking into a slightly bigger model from AUVON, but for daily use and short trips, this size is perfect.Minor ConsiderationsWhile I absolutely love this case, I do want to mention a couple of things:1. Cooling time depends on the temperature outside – If you’re in extremely hot weather (90°F+), I’d recommend bringing an extra frozen ice pack just in case.2. Space is limited – It’s great for 2-3 insulin pens and small supplies, but if you need to carry more, consider a larger size.Final Thoughts – Highly Recommended!Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. The AUVON Insulin Cooler Travel Case is affordable, well-designed, and truly effective at keeping my medication cool for several hours. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and has become an essential part of my daily routine. If you need a portable, TSA-approved insulin cooler that actually works, this is a fantastic choice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone managing diabetes who needs a reliable way to store their insulin on the go.

High quality travel pouch for your medications at a great price
The media could not be loaded. This is a great travel pouch. My husband and I needed something to take some medications that needed to remain cold on a trip with us. This pouch comes with a little freezer pack and had just enough room for both my husband and me to include our vials of medication, some syringes, and alcohol prep pads. It’s very well-made and I’m sure we’ll use this for years to come.

Good for day trips
I needed a longer case to make travelling with a Lantus pen easier. Haven't used the ice packs. Pens being used are already at room temp, and the ice packs do take up quite a bit of space in the case. If you are using both ice packs fitting three insulin pens is a tight fight, but it will do. Lantus, Ozempic, and Humalog all fit together with both ice packs. It is of good quality, and keeps pens from getting too warm in the purse or car while travelling. If you leave out the ice packs, you can fit three pens with about four needles and alcohol wipes - though getting the needle back out of the partitioned netting is a little troublesome, particularly if you are in a small cramped space like a bathroom stall with no flat surface. If you're going to need more than three or four needles you'll have to carry them separately, especially if using the ice packs.

Great for traveling!!
Works great!! I started using it for my insulin and now if I travel I use it for my ozempic and have no issues with it. Can fit my pen a couple of needles, one cooler pad, and some alcohol wipes.

Great product
Bought to travel across country via airplane with my ozempic pens. I know it says on the pens they don’t need to be refrigerated after first use but I keep them in the fridge cause why not. So I knew I’d need this for flying a 4 1/2 hour flight and then 6 hours back. They fit everything I needed and stayed cold the whole time and was still very cold when I got to destinations both times. I got the purple one. It’s very cute. Just looks like a cute little purple zip up wallet from the outside. So if you’re someone that needs to travel with these daily for insulin or whatever reason this won’t stand out to anyone. Durable and will probably last me years.

Well made, does the job.
Perfect for my purposes. It's big enough to hold three injectable Mounjaro pens (alternate the position of the bottom piece) and a few alcohol prep pads as well as the frozen inserts, if you put some pressure on it while zipping. Very good quality zipper and well made overall. I've taken from the US to Europe twice. I transport it in a clear plastic pharmacy bag that says "Refrigerate". Hold it aside in your hand luggage and alert TSA. They will ask you to open it for them to view the contents, but generally will not touch it. I highly recommend this product.
