Best stand I own!
I can’t say enough great things about this Griffin microphone stand. I have multiple stands in my studio, including some that are bigger and heavier, but this one stands out as the most mobile and durable over time. Unlike many heavy-duty stands, the wheels are easy to attach, making it effortless to move around. It securely holds my expensive microphones without tipping over, and the counterweight is a major plus for stability. At this price point, I’d choose this stand over and over again rather than spending $200+ on other heavy-duty options. Highly recommended!

Love this Mike stand
The media could not be loaded. I love everything about this mic stand. It’s strong, big, not too complicated. Has wheels that work well, so you can slide it from room to room in your studio and the counterweight is great, it is strong with solid support and for the price it is excellent don’t think you’ll get a better deal for a new stand. This is definitely not one of those cheapo 20 a $30 mic stands more like the pro ultimate support type. I’ve only had to stand for about two weeks, but seems like it’s going to do well in my studio.

Very good value for these nice mic stands. Easy to assemble and very functional. Good quality for the price.

Far exceeds expectations - very high quality and rugged construction
These were to replace a lackluster Pyle PMKS56 whose boom could barely support the lightest of microphones. The GRIFFINs are all welded steel tubing - very sturdy and stable. The wheels are high-quality ball bearing locking casters with rubber/urethane tires and ball-bearing hubs in the wheels. The quadrant style pivot for the boom has a nice smooth motion and positive lock - does not slip at all. Plus there is a substantial, movable counterweight on the boom. The only thing I can criticize is there should be crush-bushings inside the tubing where the pivot and lock bolts pass thru the tubing. This does not affect usability at all - but would mitigate potential squashing of the tubing if the locking lever was overtightened. These are as good as it gets for the $$ - if you are looking at them... BUY SOME - they do not disappoint.

Good stand for the price point.
Good heavy duty stand, the only draw back is the plastic parts the use 2 secure the base and boom. When I received the unit, the plastic connector split in two. The good things is the seller quickly sent me a replacement part, now all is well. So thumbs up for customer service. 👏🏾

The best for less
Aside from having some plastic parts which is obviously not to save on weight, and the fact that you cant completely close tge base because of the casters. I dont think you can find this heavy duty of a boom mic stand for the price. I personally think if you are keeping these set up in a studio, they will be perfect for drum overheads, if you are moving them from site to site im not sure if the plastic will last that long.Over all for way under $100 each these are a great option for anyone.

Very big. Very sturdy. Very heavy.
I was looking for a boom stand with a long reach that I could trust to not tip over. This definitely fits the bill. It's easy to use and can extend a truly incredible distance without losing balance. The only downside is that it's extremely heavy (of course, since that's part of what makes it stable) and takes up a lot of space. When set it, it has a pretty big footprint, and even when broken down for storage, it's still extremely long.
