Don’t waste your money!
Received this the day before Halloween & it was gonna be a big contributor to our costumes but it was dried up. One big harddish gel ball the shape of the tube. Couldn’t even squeeze any out. I cut the end to get access to it just to show. So disappointed!

Great product for the price
It smells a little funny so id avoid putting it anywhere near your nose if youre sensitive to smells. It does occasionally lift if you sweat too much or try to do a sewn look where u have to push something through it but a little spirit gum does the trick. Absolutely love it

Pretty easy to use, easy to remove, but not the longest lasting
First time using a scar gel or any sort of item for SFX makeup for The Bride of Frankenstein costume. Some of the other users stating the product doesn't come out of the tube didn't follow instructions - you either need to heat the whole tube in some hot water or microwave for about 8 - 10 seconds. I used a toothpick and spatula to apply. Once I got the hang of the consistency and how to manipulate it, it was fairly easy to use. I did have to reheat the product a couple times during the course of application. Once set, I was able to apply makeup directly over the product. The scar gel removed easily, unlike some of the other products people use to create SFX, based on my research. I didn't want anything that would harm my skin or cause reactions. The only downside is that about midway through my work day, parts of the created scar were starting to peel back from my face. I used lash glue as a quick fix to tack the pieces that became unattached from skin back on to get through the rest of the day, which held me over. The areas it was peeling is not a high oil area, and I did prep the skin the same prior to application. Interestingly, the area it peeled back had less makeup applied around/over the product than the areas that stayed in tact through the entire day. Overall, I'm pleased and would use it again if the need arose, but I don't know if I would recommend it for a look that you're trying to maintain for a long day.

Couldn’t even use
We tried to open it even by cutting the top off (thinking it was too thick to squeeze) and the whole thing was *expired*

Easy to use
It peels off easy. It does stink though. No one else said they could smell it but I absolutely could.

Bloody Good Effort but Not the Best
I recently tried BOBISUKA’s 3D Special Effect Gel, and here are my thoughts:Pros: • Realistic Drip: The gel creates convincing drip for cuts, bloody noses, and other special effects, making it a step above typical drugstore Halloween blood. • Versatility: It works well for both facial and body applications and can be combined with other makeup products for detailed effects. Would work well with a setting powder and/or fake skin for gashes and burns. • Safe and Gentle: It says hypoallergenic and suitable for all skin types. It didn’t irritate my skin, which isn’t super sensitive but occasionally does react with dermatitis to really cheap special effects make up. So I think the ingredients are good enough. Plus, I like that it doesn’t have the strong chemical smell found in some other fake blood products. • Easy Application and Removal: Heating the gel makes it easy to apply, and it can be removed with warm water and soap. The red did not stain my skin too much and it did come off easily with soap and water after wearing it for half an hour.Cons: • Color Accuracy: While the color looks decent when pooled, it can appear too bright/thin and unrealistic when spread out. • Consistency Issues: The gel must be heated to achieve a drippy consistency, as it’s quite gelatinous out of the tube. Without heating, it can be difficult to work with. I was hoping when it cooled back down, that it would regain some of the gel texture and get a scabbed up look, which leads me to my next point. • No Scabbing: Unlike some stage bloods, it doesn’t dry or form a scab-like texture, which can be a drawback for certain looks. It can become gummy and keeps the drips in place with setting powder, so you’ll need additional products for a long-lasting, realistic appearance. Conclusion:BOBISUKA’s gel is good for certain special effects and photography where you can control the environment. It may not be the best choice for professional stage use or active scenarios like Halloween due to its tendency to smear without extra products. However, if you need a quick, easy to use and remove option without a strong scent, this fake blood can work for more static or controlled settings.I have included before and after pictures to show the difference in texture when the gel is heated.

Works, takes a while to set
I Repipe’s my face as indicated and warmed tube. Took a little while to set but made a nice “scar”Lasted for 3 classes but I needed to reapply for work.Loosened a bit but it was a pretty physical day (I load construction materials).Biggest problem was my skins reaction to drying preps for this and I had some reddening for the next day. Note— not this product - as it worked fine.

Product arrived unusable
When I received this it was so dried up and congealed that I couldn’t even squeeze it out of the tube let alone use it. Very disappointed.
