This luggage scale is a game-changer! I was tired of those gadget scales that always seem to be out of battery when I need them most. This one just works — no batteries required! It’s lightweight, sleek, and the quality is solid. The large, legible screen is a bonus, making it super easy to read even in low light. It takes a few swipes to get it going, but once you do, it lasts a good 30 seconds or more, which is more than enough time to weigh your luggage. I even gave one to my mom abroad as a gift, because it’s both functional and looks great. It’s hard to find something this accurate, portable, and environmentally friendly (since you won't need to keep purchasing batteries!). Highly recommend!

Given that airlines can charge you stupid amounts for a pound over their arbitrary weight limit on bags, this seemed like a good investment. This gadget is perfect! It's small and light, so it should go easily into any carry-on bag. It seems to perform flawlessly. It's a snap to read, making it useful for older folks. I particularly like that it does not rely on batteries, but charges up with a small handle on the side. It also presents in both pounds and kilos, which is also useful for multiple travelers. I have to confess that I have not compared it to a known weight, so I'm relying on the accuracy. I need to find a known weight to confirm it's accurate, then update this.

Works like a charm!! No batteries needed. Just two or three swipes of the slider and it charges up. No need to EVER BUY CR2032, AA's, AAA's, anything! Nothing to plug in to recharge! Very cool!

The fact that you do not need to add any batteries is a lifesaver! It's also durable and somewhat accurate, I weighed bags at 49lbs with this scale that ended up being 48-50lbs at the airport. It's small and easy to use and I packed it on my carry-on and had no problem at all with it.

I keep this in my pocket or backpack in the airport for last minute checks or approximate weight before leaving home, which is what it’s useful for. Good value for money on that front; it gives readings quickly and you can switch between lb and kg with one button. However, it is NOT consistent. I weighed my carry on prior to an international flight (which has a stricter 18 lb capacity unlike 35 lb domestic) and I checked my bag weight with this tool 5 times and each time it gave a different number, with an error of +/- 0.4 lb. This may not seem like much, but half a pound is a HUGE difference and if you’re close to capacity, could be the difference between some airliners ok-ing the bag or not. Use this to approximate weight, do NOT rely on it as the go-to for your bag(s).

This thing actually works. You flick the slide on the side of the unit three or four times and it generates enough electricity to work for two or three minutes. It will never need batteries. It seems to be accurate and shows you the correct weight even if you pick up the weight and then flick the slide
