This thing is cold!
This is better than I expected. At first I thought this is just a heatsink with a fan. It turned out this is an active cooling device with Peltier solid state cooling device. It fits perfectly and works great on my A7C II. It does take quite a bit of power but that's normal for active cooling devices. The only think I added to it is thin soft thermal pad so it can take out the heat more efficiently.

Excellent quiet supercooling hardware. Great product!
Works great. I’m using my it as a cooler for my ASUS NUC 14 PRO+. The NUC is designed so the motherboard is at the top of the aluminum housing with the processor at the top with the copper heat dispersion tubes going outward then down the side to the cooling fins on both side of the housing. With this placed directly in the middle at the top of the case it keeps the whole system much cooler. It’s very quiet and I can’t even hear it running. Well worth the money. It cools extremely well. It’s a nice compact size and it’s well built and solid. It has some weight to it and it functions great. This could be widely used for cooling almost anything. It’s compatible with anything that has the room for it.

Actually works REALLY well. Totally solved overheating for my ZV-1!
It is incredible how well this thing worked for my Sony ZV-1. That camera has always had overheating problems. With the heat tolerance set to high I can generally get 42-ish minutes out of it if the space is cool but it is easy to overheat if the ambient temperature is above 70. I first tested this fan when it arrived today and when I plugged it into an external battery I was shocked that the reviews I had seen were correct and it actually gets COLD to the touch very quickly. Given how well and how tightly it connects to the back of the ZV-1 which seems to have a thermally conductive plate under the screen anyway, I was able to run it until the memory card filled up for a test without ever getting a heat warning. Later, my buddy and I who do a silly movie review podcast on youtube used it for almost 4 hours with no heating issues at all. You can absolutely hear the fan through the camera's microphone but using external audio it isn't a problem at all. The only issue we had then was the memory cards filling up. This thing, plus an external power source for both it and the camera make my old ZV-1 feel like you could literally record all day if you have enough storage space. I had planned to sell this camera but I'm glad I didn't and listened to my wife when she told me to just give a cooling fan a shot first.

Good for a7iv, minor critiques
I have never had issues with my Sony a7iv overheating before, but I got this because I was planning on shooting some higher profile clients. This fan is silent and does an excellent job. My camera hardly gets warm since installing this. If you have issues with overheating, I would definitely recommend this product for its value. The multiple available modes help you tune it to your scenario as well. My main critiques are I wish it was slightly tighter in the camera. I haven’t had it slide out yet, but I sometimes question its fit. It feels like it may pop out if I set the camera down too hard. I also wish the included USB-C cable had right angles on both ends of the cable. This would make it fit better in my rig with my v-mount battery.

Need it for long days.
Easy to install. Keeps my camera cool especially when using the camera for over 4 hours. Good size and price.

Supercool. Seriously. It's Super Cool
I've had a lot of problem with my Sony cameras overheating. Over the years, I've used the ZV-E10, the a6300, the FX30, and now an a6700. The FX30s have built-in fans, but they still easily overheat. The a6700 is my newest camera and I want to use it as a B-cam for marketing videos. This SmallRig cooler pops right in with a bracket. It fits well and seems like it won't come loose. I even shook the camera pretty good and it wouldn't move. The metal build looks durable. As others have mentioned, it's more than just a simple fan. It also has a cooling device which actually cools the plate of the unit. Very slick. And the fan is very quiet. I'm very happy with this device, and I may try to use it with the FX30 as well.

Wired only, not battery operable.
Works well and gets cold enough to create condensation, I actually used it on my mac mini XD. but as far as using it on a camera (ZVE10-II) it does keep it running cold, I should have read the specs carefully, it does require a usb cable it is not chargeable, wired only.

Great fan, well built frame and it does in fact snap into the camera properly. Tested in a Mark II and worked just fine. Note that you cannot close the viewfinder with this installed. This fan will also add a loud MMMMMMMMMMM humm to everything you record in video so prepare to do some heavy editing of audio. If you cannot edit your audio it will be pretty bad be aware. But it does work to reduce the heat and allow a full 60min time limit (make sure to hit save BEFORE your timer runs out, they do not save automatically at the 60min end!)
