Used this to seal a leak in my Quadrafire pellet stove. It works great. Very sticky. Easy cleanup. Very durable. No drips, dries quickly and seals well.

4 stars reason the date on calk was expired by 4 months put this on a double wall pipe for a wood burning stove havnt burned anything yet will see this winter

This product is not black. It starts that way but turns grey when it dries so you need to paint if you use it on visible sections of a flue.Also I think the tubes I was sent were expired. The product date says 2024 and I just received this order in August 2025. That would explain a problem I had using this product. When I cut it open a liquid came out (not a paste), as I used it the product went from runny to normal caulk consistency and then runny followed by way too thick and difficult to extrude. It became so difficult that I quit after only doing 3 1/2 seams. So it was very difficult to use.

It flows easy works pretty well but I applied to a pipe joint behind my wood stove, after several months it has become very hard and falls out, not sure what temp this gets to do not have a thermometer that reads real high temps

Didn’t work at all!! First time I used my smoker it hardened, shrunk and literally fell out of the cracks it is intended to seal. Complete garbage! This smoker doesn’t exceed 275 degrees so the heat rating on this is completely false! I put ugly tape on it with less than half the heat rating and it held up just fine.

I used this to seal a charcoal grill. It works great, and is easy to use and apply. Dries quickly.
