Will handle multiple large heavy fishing kayaks
I was a bit nervous when I ordered this rack as I have large heavy kayaks. For the price I thought it would be light, flimsy and too small. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that the metal was much heavier and sturdier than I had expected. It was easy enough to put together by myself and all necessary tools came with it. I was still a bit hesitant to put my yaks on it but it holds them perfectly. While I was looking at reviews I found myself scanning for details on the kayaks they were being used for to help me make a more informed decision so for reference I am including details of what I have on there. I do not know how they will hold up in the long run but I am happy with this purchase. It is holding the followingToo: Lifetime Stealth Angler 110 11’Middle: Pelican Covert 120 12’Bottom: Ascend 12T 12’ (this beast is almost 80lbs)These are all sit on hefty fishing kayaks so I am impressed with this little rack.

Stability
This is not as sturdy as I was expecting it to be and it would need to be anchored to a wall for better stability. I would not be comfortable just having it there if I had young kids in the house. But it does the job I needed it to allows me to fit an extra one in the very bottom.

It’s a great purchase - highly recommend
Perfectly holds 3 6.5 foot kayaks (one double stacked) an 8.5 foot kayak with a long board stacked, a 10.5 foot kayak, and room for my 12.5 paddle board below. Plus one plant. Well worth the money to keep everything organized.

Junk collapsed with roughly 275lb on it
So I bought this with high hopes of not having to build my own. That was a mistake. I put two 90lb kayaks on bottom two shelves a 70lb on the third shelf and 25lb on top. While adjusting the position on the kayak on the second shelf the upright tube folded and down went everything. So good for 400lb ? I think not!

Smaller than it seems
Smaller than it seems in the picture. Cannot fit a sit in kayak in the first rack only on the top rack. It is sturdy and doing what it’s supposed to do but if you have a larger kayak this is not for you
