Brilliant Lego set for my train loving 7 year old son. He enjoyed building it over the holidays as he got it for Christmas.

Bought for my 6-year old grandson. He loved it and enjoyed building it. Still plays with it (he is now 7). It is difficult to go wrong with Lego provided you pay attention to detail. Like is it appropriate for his age, (sometimes/often 6 year olds can build sets advertised for 8-9 year olds, do they enjoy building / putting stuff/bricks together / do they forget about it once finished etc.

What a delightful addition to playtime! When I set this up with my 9-year-old daughter, the fun never seemed to stop. The detailed instructions made assembly smooth and enjoyable, taking us about three hours as we chatted and watched a film. The set fits perfectly on our dining table, transforming it into a bustling miniature city scene. The tram moves seamlessly along the track, though it’s also fun to play with off-track, reminiscent of a whimsical little adventure. My daughter adored switching the driver seats, and the accessible design elements were a thoughtful touch. The coffee shop corner with solar panels and tiny newspapers is charming, and the inclusion of a wheelchair-accessible section sparked important conversations about inclusivity with my children. However, be prepared for a bit of a gap in play areas and some minor inconsistencies in parts. A few extra tracks would have been the cherry on top, but the playful and educational dynamics more than make up for it. This set has been a lovely way to spend quality time with my kids, sparking creativity and conversation aplenty!
