Because of the bunion and overlapping big toe and the pain in soul, I researched a good splint and decided to buy Tynor's. I adjusted the splint for a lose fit as have never worn one before. Shockingly, the moment I wore it, the plastic circular hinge bumped out and the two splint pieces dislodged. I looked for the hinge that flew off and retried wearing the splint, tried to adjust the splint slight up/down but same thing kept happening. The hinge is integral for the splint to work and it was defective. Tried calling the numbers on Tynor's packaging but no human being. In fact, the call auto disconnects. BTW - neither the manual nor a video by the company explains that the drop-shaped cushion meant for the soul side, is also attached with velcro. Take it off and paste it as instructed for the best comfort and fit. The splint, for sure is very comfortable to wear and once worn, I did not feel anything new or stiff on my foot. But yes, I could not try it while walking as in sitting position, with my leg on a table, the hinge kept flying off. Amazon did refund the amount [THANK YOU AMAZON for your excellent service!] but did I buy to get refund?? A person in pain needs a reliable and helpful product. Invest time in researching a decent product, make online transactions and wait for delivery only to receive a hopeless product.
