Very Busy Spider Board Book (Lift-the-Fl

Love all the books by Eric Carle and this one was an instant hit with my 2 year old who wants to read every chance they get. The slight emboss on the pages in the hard cover is a nice touch where my kid likes to feel the web.

It is again one of those Eric Carle's books that deliver an important message through stories that are fun to read with the young ones. It is the story of a spider who chooses to quietly do what might seem as mundane and routine work while everyone else around is trying to distract it with potentially interesting things. In the end it is because of that routine work, it is rewarded. Beautiful illustrations, high quality printing, sturdy board book with touch and feel to ever growing spider's web. Me and my son have ended up reading it many many times together.

Choice of books is subjective aince each book offers the story in a different way. This one is liked more because of the texture it offers ( i ordered a board book), though the story and illustration are just about average. Kids who are voracious readers will like it, those building interest may take time.

Great book for kids, i didn't know it had sensory illustration too, loved the texture of the spiders web and the spider and fly too! really interesting how all the animals keep asking the spider different questions as she finishes her web. Ending is also very nice. Good quality eric carle is a master at children's books.

The illustrations in the book are really good. The spider and it's web have textured feeling to it. The story begins with a spider blown away by wind where it starts to build a web. Various animals asks spider for some or other activity but spider keeps on building it's web. In the end, the hard work pays of as spider easily catches a fly. I found that this book is not only entertaining but teaches a moral lesson to the kids that hard work pays off (in a subtle way). My 3 year old kids has taken a liking to books and like this one too.

Nice cute story by Eric Carle about the busy spider. You can also touch and feel the web that the spider spins. Nice little touch to the book.

For kids it's really good and the quality of paper and book was ..the best...

Torn on the first day

The book is great same as the very hungry coutterpill ,rhythmic and tech the child about animals and their sounds

The size is perfect for a toddler

Esse livro é muito bom, além da gráfica, ensina sobre respeitar o outro quando não se pode algo ou está ocupado. Saber ouvir o não e dizer também. Meu filho ama esse livro.

Interactive, the spiderweb is a sensory ( we touch it all the time), talks about various other animals, working hard, and how important spiders are( helps alleviate fears)

The story is simplay about a spider spinning its web, and no matter what animal approached it to ask a question, it did not reply (repeatedly). My son asked why is the spider ignoring everyone, and I said probably because it is very busy, but it's rude to ignore others nonetheless.
