Fit perfectly on my Dyson V6 Motorhead. It was completely dead and this brought it back to life. Easy install. Only tool a few minutes and it comes with the tool included.

The battery on my Dyson V6 trigger stopped holding a charge, so I bought this battery replacement which is more affordable than buying straight from Dyson. It fits perfectly and was easy to change out. I used the original screws instead of the provided screws because the provided ones seemed a little harder to screw in. The vacuum is working like brand new again -cheaper than buying a new vacuum!! It also came with 2 replacement filters, a tiny cleaning brush, screwdriver, and replacement screws.

Super happy with this product. This cost half the price of the Dyson brand battery and works just as well; easy to install, long lasting, good power. Handy that it comes with extra filters too.

The installation instructions are minimal. Enough for someone used to doing household repairs, they are enough. But I am not good at repairs and I had to make more effort than I wanted to figure out the process. There is a Phillips screwdriver included with my purchase, but when I had someone else help me with the installation, he found it too small. We used a slightly larger screwdriver. Not sure if that was necessary. The screw on the original battery was very tight and we needed to use pliers to unscrew and remove it.PROS: A new filter and cleaning brush were included. A PhillIps screwdriver was included (it may have been a perfect tool if the screw in the original battery had not been so tight). The battery was pre-charged and could be used as soon as installed. (I have only used it once, so don't know about how long it runs or how long it will be usable. But right now, it works well.CON: instructions about removal of old battery (no information about this) and installation of new battery were too brief for someone not used to doing this type of repair.

My Dyson had become unreliable. Battery life was short, sometimes non existent even after charging. It was the original battery so it was time to consider a new one. This was a perfect match, easy to install and has worked great. Wish I would have replaced it sooner. Included filters were an excellent addition.

Fits into V8 but a little issue getting the top screw back into place. Battery works well and has held a charge. Cannot speak to longevity yet as I’ve only had the battery for a few months.
