this book is well written and systematically covers the appropriate topics for the subject at hand. More in depth design aspects would be desirable; however, it has been my experience that no one book has all of the info needed on anything. I would say that this book gives the reader a really good foundation for further study and research if desired, and certainly makes a would be designer stop and consider what he is doing and why when selecting and placing terminals.

Good information provided, however the information provided is insufficient to easily choose the best terminals for an application. Not enough information is provided to choose the optimal location for terminals (if designing a building from scratch). If choosing a terminal based on an as-built location, not enough information is provided as to the "weighting" of the various factors. For example, given location and CFM requirements for a room, what is the minimum and maximum Throw at what Terminal Velocity is acceptable. What about Spread - should it cover the entire room, or just the occupied zones? What if the terminal is located in the corner - should the Spread be sized to cover the room or just meet the wall? The answers to these questions are hinted at but not spelled out in detail (as I would expect).TLDR; Good information, not enough spelled out information to easily select correct terminal for application
