just got my wisdom teeth out and this is so comfortable!!

The stretchy wrap is made of a soft blue fabric that covers the soft gel pack that is frozen. When attached via Velcro around the head, it provides relief through its cold pack. It is remarkably comfortable.I had the thought to use this on my hurt shoulder since it was so soft and comfortable, but this led me to discover that the cold retention of this pack wasn’t as good as another ice pack that I have.On the other hand, it is perfectly okay for the use as an aid for a sore jaw.

Stays cold for 15 mins and that’s it. Don’t buy this.

I ordered this to keep in my first aid kit, so I haven't tried it for therapy yet. In my family, we often have a need for a cold pack for migraines or dental pain. I think this will work so much better than the bag of frozen peas we usually use.The gel pack is made of a soft, stretchy fabric over what are reportedly medical grade gel beads. The pack will stretch to accommodate most head and jaw sizes. You have the option to either heat it in the microwave for warm heat or put it in the fridge or freezer for cold therapy. This pack appears to be well made, and not easy to damage if you follow the directions.

Freeze it for a few hours to make sure it's cold enough and then you put it on your head. The coolness is not bitingly freezingly cold. Instead the soft cloth provides enough insulation to make it comfortable but it's not so thick, you lose the ability to cool your head.Also once you're healed, you can use it to cool yourself during the heat waves.

This gel ice pack wrap is a wonderful size fit for variety of body areas. The gel is located on the front of the pack only and not the entire circumference. It remains flexible when frozen making it perfect for conforming to various areas with ease. There is a velcro closure which can affix to any area on exterior of the pack so that it can fit anywhere from your head/face, knees, ankle, etc. There is a cutout shape for the nose for wearing this over the eyes. This is a wonderful choice in ice packs due to the gel composition that is pliable, soft and comfortable fabric, and adjustability in size due to the velcro which can affix the full length of the pack.
