A color instruction sheet is included.The instructions for this product are quite good. The color illustrations are helpful for finding the programming button on the motor unit of the garage door opener. From the instructions, this garage door remote is good for 1993 to date LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Sears Craftsman garage door openers with purple, red/orange, yellow, or green programming buttons on the opener motor housing.My garage door opener is a Chamberlain and was installed new in 2019. I chose a Chamberlain garage door opener because Chamberlain makes Craftsman, and the Craftsman garage door opener in my prior house functioned flawlessly for 20 years, and when I sold the house it was still working fine.Following the instructions, I located the programming button on the opener’s motor housing. I had to pull down the plastic light diffuser to access the button. I then put the remote in programming mode and when this was completed, I pressed the programming button on the motor housing and that was it! I tested the remote by opening and closing the garage door, and it works perfectly!What more is there to say? This product came with clear instructions, programmed exactly according to the instructions, and works like the original remotes. With a price of $10, it is a bargain. I am glad I ordered this product and I recommend it.

Long story short: I had an RF interference problem with my (purple button) Craftsman/Chamberlain door opener. I have gone through a series of remote replacements trying to bull my way through. This was unsuccessful (turned out I created my own RF by plugging in LED strip lighting as my opener lighting). Once that was resolved, it turned out the Datonten has the longest range.I also like the form factor best, as it is handier on the visor than the squarish OEM and the rest of the replacements. Programming WAS a bit more fidgety because of the span of its span of compatibility, but very doable after a try or two. This is the way.

Matches OEM remotes and programs just the same. For a much cheaper price.

This Datonten garage opener is great, it is extremely inexpensive under $10, super easy to set up and start using straight out of the box. Speaking about the box, the clicker comes in a super simple and industrial looking box, inside there is user manual/instructions in English, the remote garage opener and a metal clip to be installed on the back of the clicker and that way after setting it up, you can just clip it on the back side of the sun visor of your car.This particular model of the garage door opener comes with three buttons, and it can be programmed to open three different garage doors with each button. The programming took no more than 5 minutes with my garage door system and the clicker was ready to be used, I tested the distance or the range of cover and it was good for about 60-70 yards, so that gives you plenty of time to open the garage and pull in without waiting in front of it.Overall, I like this clicker, it is very cheap and does the job as promised.
