Product Description HealthAid 5-HTP is derived naturally from an African seed (Griffoniasimplicifolia). The body manufactures this amino acid from tryptophan, which is found in dietary proteins and is used to make serotonin, an important substance for normal nerve and brain function. Ingredients Bulking Agent (microcrystalline cellulose, di-calcium phosphate), L-5 Hydroxytryptophan (Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract), Controlled Release Agent (hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose), Anti-caking Agent (veg. magnesium stearate, silica), Binding Agent (acacia gum).

Directions Adults and children over 16 years of age, one to two tablets daily. Can be increased to four tablets daily if required. Maximum of six tablets can be taken a day. Do not exceed recommended daily intake unless advised by a suitably qualified person. it helps me without eliminating my panic attacks, depression and anxiety. Will have to use it for longer time to have clearer picture. I dont have any side effects.

Great for sleep and mood.
I've been taking one of these tablets at bedtime for years. It helps greatly with sleep and mood. I find this brand the best. Don't take more than 2 per day as too much can cause rapid heart beat.

I didn't notice any effect (good or bad) from taking this supplement. Not to say it wont be effective for anyone else but makes me an inappropriate person to review it. Good luck to everyone endeavouring to improve their health !

Migraines have gone
My Migraines have actually stopped and I'm over the moon!!! I've had every tablet under the sun to help with migraines over twenty plus years and this has actually stopped them. I had my last migraine 30 March and before this I had one nearly every week which lasted three days. Give them a try!!!
