WKUP F002, 1 NPT Male to 3/4 GHT Male Adapter, Rubber O-Ring Included on NPT End (Pack of 2)

I would have preferred a brass or stainless steel fitting, but could not find one in 1" NPT size. This one came in a 2-pack and the threads seem to be cut well. I suppose the rubber o-ring is a good thing, I used thread tape to screw it into a brass valve. My application requires frequent attachment of a garden hose, so time will tell if the threads hold up....

Used for a pump

I had such a hard time finding this adapter at any hardware or home improvement store. This was exactly as advertised and needed. So glad found.

Used to create a new drain on our old basement dehumidifier. Drilled a hole, inserted it, put some silicone around the inside, nutted it, and installed a garden hose from it to the drain. Works great.

This replaces a nearly-identical item, for attaching a garden hose to a small electric pump, and is more reliable.The adapter that came with the pump had GHT threads that stopped 1/8" from the tip; the garden hose could only engage a couple of turns, and the hose was always falling off of the pump.This adapter has threads all the way to the tip of the adapter, I can get 3-1/2 turns of threads engaged, and the hose stays attached.

This is finally the right part for my application. However, I am still struggling to find a 1" Nut to fit the 1" NPT side of the adaptor for my application!!! Does nobody make a plastic/nylon nut to fit a 1"NPT thread???
