I thought the towels were great for taking off my face makeup. They are soft and gentle to the touch when wetting them for use.

I ordered these to have something to remove my makeup with because I was tired of staining all my washclothes (I don't use bleach in my laundry, ever.) I have super sensitive skin and I wanted them to be natural and biodegradable. These fit the bill and work really well. My skin is not bothered by them. Love that they are big enough so I can fold in quarters and use all the sides. They are strong enough that you can use one side, rinse it and wring it out, and then use another clean side. Only taking off a star because when I opened them, the unfortunately had a slight smell of detergent. Honestly, most packaging or products made in a facility that uses plastics will have this. I hate detergent scent, it probably wouldn't bother most people. It did dissipate as I worked through the box. I would order again.

These are great wash cloths and can be used for makeup or for showering. I really love how strong they are and they are easy to use. I just toss them after using them. No makeup on cloth wash cloths or towels, love that.

This may sound weird but these are too soft for me. I'll use an analogy so that some may understand what I mean by that. If you are used to showering in hard water, it may feel weird to shower in soft water. Some people don't like the difference because they feel as if they aren't clean, like the soap hasn't thoroughly rinsed off their skin. This is how I feel about these face wipes. I want a slight drag, for lack of a better word, so my face feels as if it's been wiped clean. I like to feel some exfoliation, however slight, I guess is what I'm trying to say. Hopefully someone finds that helpful.
