I got the black and silver. They have a nice weight to them. They look great on men and women.

I had a different brand St Francis medal for on my dog's collar, but I noticed it discolored my dog's neck, and then the little hook broke. When I went to solder the hook back together the whole thing, hook and medal, melted! So I had to hunt for one that was made better. This medal came in a nice little gift box with the chain and the medal in separate zip-lock bags. I only needed the medal, so the chain went in my jewelry box. This medal is so much nicer quality than the melty one I had. It is real stainless steel with a very good quality etched image. I'm very happy with this. And now my dog's white chest is white again and no longer gray.

This black necklace truly amazed me the moment I opened the box. The black finish gives it a sense of elegance, and the carving is so detailed that Saint Michael appears vivid and lifelike. I hope that Saint Michael will continue to watch over me and my family in the future.
